Dream Catcher let out a pathetic yowl as a snake cornered her, wriggling and hissing, fangs bared. " H- HELP!! " she wailed pathetically, the young kitten sobbing helplessly. Rattlefur, her spirit guide, attempted to soothe her, but Dream Catcher hardly heard him through her pathetic wails of terror.

A young canine pricked up her ears hearing the wail. Lucky was a WindClan pup- not even apprenticed yet- but she was always exploring and now was one of those times when she was on enemy territory. The six moon old black and white dog began to growl, racing forward towards the wails. While she spoke little cat, the word 'help' was one of the few words she did understand- and even if she couldn't, the wail of the kit would be enough to tell her what was going on.
It took Lucky only moments to notice the snake, and she snarled, leaping between it and the kit with her teeth bared and hackles raised. It was only once she was in this dangerous position that she realised exactly what she was doing. "Yikes, that's big!" She yelped in dog, her brown eyes flashing briefly with fear before she returned to snarling, baring her teeth and snapping at the snake. Despite her fear, she wasn't letting a helpless kit be harmed.
ooc;
It can bite Lucky if you want, though not kill her. It'd teach her not to be reckless ^^ -
[ Go ahead~ ]
Dream Catcher's breath began heaving as she scrabbled for cover, her little claws scratching the ground as she desperately tried to get to the top of the ravine. Then... her sharp nose picked up the scent of dog. Fear shot through her again, and Rattlefur instantly knew what the dog was going to do. "DREAM CATCHER!" he yelled at her, waving his spirit-y paws in the air in front of her eyes. Dream Catcher's eyes instantly swiveled to him. "The dog's trying to help--" He let out a yowl of shock as the dog ran through his spirit form and Rattlefur evaporated into cold mist.
Dream Catcher blinked in shock as the dog crouched over her protectively. It -- She was much bigger than Dream Catcher herself, and a big fluffy mound of black and white. Shuddering at the sheer size of the dog, Dream Catcher did not seem to notice the dog's young age of six moons. Wheezing from the terror of almost being killed, Dream Catcher quickly let out a shrill scream as another snake advanced on her from the pile of rocks. This one was enormous, and it... actually... rattled! This withdrew an even more frantic scream of terror from the traumatized kitten, and Dream Catcher let out a third scream as it advanced quickly, tail lashing.
Dream Catcher darted forward quickly then, tiny jaws closing around the reptile's head. With a quick, brittle snap of her head, Dream Catcher bit off the head of the snake. Paws trembling, Dream Catcher quickly turned back to the dog with a bit of bravery sparking in her eyes.
-

Lucky was focused on her own fight to congratulate Dream Catcher on her killing the snake. The canine growled at the snake she was fighting, snapping at it again and trying to figure out how exactly you fought a snake. She had, in truth, never fought one before- she had been raised a pampered house pet, a fact proven by the leather collar still around her neck, and this was her first real battle.
Suddenly, Lucky made a reckless decision. Diving forward, she ran straight for the snake, going to bite it in half- naturally, the snake's reaction was... aggressive, to say the least. It lashed out, its fangs sinking into Lucky's leg, and the young dog yelped and whined in pain before biting down on the snake. As soon as she was sure it was dead- by doing no less than ripping it apart- she turned to the kit, her injured leg raised so that no weight was on it, and she whined again, trying to figure out how to ask it if it was okay in cat. Remembering Max's warnings, she worried about the snake that had bitten her. Was it poisonous? Venomous, even? If it was dangerous to bite, she knew she could be poisoned by it from fighting it. If it had venom on its fangs, then she was definitely going to be ill. And she knew that could be serious. But she tried to ignore those thoughts, focusing on the kit. That was all that mattered to Lucky, at the moment.
-
Dream Catcher turned around quickly from talking with her spirit guide to hear a yelp. Ears flicking, she looked at the dog in concern, who was lifting one of her legs, which seemed bitten. The snake that bit her wasn't venomous, although very big. So big, it terrified Dream Catcher, who was probably gonna be his last meal. Neither poisonous. The dog would live, and be okay.
Gathering her thoughts, she turned to Rattlefur. "Help me talk in dog tongue." Rattlefur nodded, and with a starry step, he disappeared inside her to speak in the tongue for her. He knew dog tongue greatly. "You okay?" he spoke through her, using the same young voice of his little kitten, but dog tongue.
-

Lucky looked at the kit in surprise as it spoke in dog, her paw still raised off the ground. "I think I'll be fine. If the snake were dangerous, it would have affected me by now, I think." She barked in answer, wondering how it had come to know the canine language. "What about you? Are you hurt?" She asked, worried that she would have to carry the kit to a camp. What trouble that would be, taking a kit to ThunderClan camp as a WindClan dog that didn't even speak cat! But she would do it, if it was required. No doubt she would get into trouble, but she would do it. As she waited for the kit's reply, she lowered her head to lick the bite, her ears flattening slightly as she did it. This would take some explaining when she got home- she wasn't even meant to leave the camp yet.
-
Dream Catcher purred in amusement. "No, I'm not hurt. Just horribly traumatized," she said cheerfully, she seemed to be very moody. ", the reason I can speak dog tongue is that my spirit guide, Rattlefur is helping me learn it. I have been successful so far." she squeaked out, dancing on her toes. "Where are you from?"
Dream Catcher twisted her head in a stretch, a cattish grin spreading across her face.
-

Lucky wagged her tail, relieved, before pausing in cleaning her injury. "Oh, I'm just a WindClan Pup." She said. "I snuck out to explore when I heard you. I'm not even meant to be here!" She decided against telling the kit of her former pet dog past- it wasn't really relevant, and if the kit wanted to know all she had to do was look at her collar. "I'm Lucky, by the way. What about you? What's your name, and where did you come from?"
-
Dream Catcher cocked her head cutely, her green eyes sparkling mischievously. "My name's Dream Catcher. And.. I'm not really sure where I'm from." she meowed, mind whirling. The only thing she remembered of her past really was when she discovered her spirit guide. The kitten glanced down at her neck; nope no collar there. She guessed she never really was a kittypet. Perhaps a loner, because she had no training of battle at all. She could never be a rogue, because she just wasn't vicious enough.
The feline looked thoughtful as she spoke in her charming voice, "I think I was born a loner. Besides...what's WindClan?" she asked, her green eyes opening wide in curiosity.
-

Lucky listened to the kit, concerned for the youngster's safety. She remembered when she had ran away from her humans, how difficult it had been for her to find food. If it hadn't been for her friend. Max, she would've starved. "WindClan is a big group of cats that lives on the moors. They accept other animals too, though- like me, and my friend, Max." She explained. "There are many groups like WindClan. Right now, we're on ThunderClan territory, which is a bit dangerous for me but I always come here and no one seems to have noticed yet." She said.
-
"Oh." Dream Catcher meowed, her eyes sparkling mischievously still. With a purr, Dream Catcher aimed a friendly swipe at her new friend's shoulder, falling as she attempted to do so. Since the kitten was so tiny, and Lucky was much bigger than her, Dream Catcher decided to trust this dog.
"Can you take me where you live?" Dream Catcher squeaked, happily attempting to launch a pretend attack on the dog's front left paw.
-

Lucky watched the kit as she tried to swipe her shoulder, before dropping into a playful crouch as theshe pretended to attack her front paw. Playfully, and gently, she tried to knock the kit over, tail wagging as she barked. "Of course, if you want to join WindClan!" She said. "It'll be awkward explaining where I found you though, since I'm not even meant to be out of the camp, let alone on another Clan's territory!" She laughed as she spoke, trying to ignore the pain in her bitten leg. It was fading anyway, now. Hey, if that was all she had to put up with to save a cat, maybe she'd launch herself into attacks without thinking more often.
-
Dream Catcher purred happily at her newfound friend. "Oooh, thank you!" she purred, winding herself around Lucky's legs.
[ realllyyy lazyyy ]
-

Lucky wagged her tail even harder as the kit purred, before looking around. "We'd better go. Hey, you didn't tell me your name yet." She added the last sentance as she realised that, having not noticed before.ooc:
Do you want me to make a thread in WindClan, or are you going to make it, or are we just going to stay on this thread? I don't mind. -
( Can you? ouo )
"My name is Dream Catcher. I believe I mentioned it earlier." Dream Catcher meowed throatily with her purr intensifying. Green eyes catching the sunlight, Dream Catcher grinned cheekily yet adorably up at the dog.

"Oh, did you? Um..." The young black and white dog began scratching her ear, an embarrassed action she made whenever she messed up, which happened often. "Sorry. I guess I was a bit distracted. But maybe we should get going now? I don't want to be caught on ThunderClan territory..." She said, her voice slightly nervous. The last thing she wanted was to start a fight with ThunderClan. -
"Let's go!" Dream Catcher mewed excitedly, darting swiftly around an elm tree. Were WindClan cats fast? Cause if they were, she was built like them. Squeaking in excitement, the she-cat flipped over on her back and landed hard on it. Unfazed, she got up swiftly and began circling a small area.

Lucky looked at Dream Catcher, wondering what she was doing. "WindClan's this way!" She called, her tail up and wagging. She was proud of her day's work- it wasn't bad, for a six moon old pup that had only left her humans two moons ago.
