"Carina," David spoke sternly. "He is tormented everyday by what he has lost. He is constantly stressed about being hunted down, and he has nightmares every single night. I can't ask someone to live like that. It is a horrible thing."

Ooc: I probably won't leave the thread... I have another character idea, but I do plan on killing Jason. I was thinking about making a young kid that ends up being brought into Carina's family and ends up being partially taken care of by her and David. Random idea, just to keep the thread going.
Ic: Jason looked at the soldiers who were now aiming at him standing alone,"David. I'm letting you into my mind. Stop my powers from working for these gentlemen, please." He relaxed his mind, and readied for his fate. -
I'm sick of looking for those heroes in the sky
To teach us how to fly
Together we cry, we cryOOC: Okay... sounds good.
IC: Carina screamed in anguish, trying one last time to get away from David. She couldn't just watch Jason die; let alone watch him willingly be murdered.
There comes a time where every bird has to fly
At some point every rose has to die -
Ooc: Wait, before they leave, could I have him tell them like two last things?
-
(Sure. I will just past that back later)
-
Ooc: Thanks, sorry for the slight trouble
Ic: Before David walked away, Jason spoke,"Thanks for the few good times we had. Thank you, Carina for saving my *ss, and thank you David, for protecting hers. Hope you remember me somehow. H*ll the least you could do is name a kid after me or something", he joked with his final words before preparing himself to be taken away by death's sweet mercy. -
David nodded and carefully made his way into Jason's mind. He was able to convince the boy's powers that he was in no danger so it would not react. Walking away with Carina still in his grasp, he rounds the corner just as the first sound of gunshot is heard.
"See ya soon Jason," David whispered while looking to the sky. Then he chuckled and looked at the ground and continued, "Well... maybe not."
-
The rounds hit Jason and he felt all the pain, then after a little bit, nothing. He hit the ground with even a slight smile left on his face.

Placing her on the ground softly he looked into her eyes as he held onto both of her hands still. "I'm sorry." he said. His eyes glistening with tears that could never fall.
-
"I don't want to talk right now," Carina said in a slow, quiet voice without looking at David.
OOC: uh... So people are actually, like, signing up for this role play. Like, wait, what?
-
-_- I know...
David Grimaced and looked to the side. "I know you are angry, but I can't ever ask someone to live like that. Not when I know what it does to someone."
-
"I know, but I honestly don't care. I just would rather not talk to anyone right now," she said, a bit more forcefully than the first time.
-
"Okay. I understand." He whispered before walking away to God knows where. I'm not even sure if he knows.
-
Ooc: Seriously? The main reason I killed Jason off was because it was hard for me to involve him and there was no one else. Are you f*cking serious?
-
(Eh. I don't want to seem like a heartless bastard though. I can't make him indifferent to a persons death. Carina? I have absolutely no idea. It was easier when that other person who played Jason's friend was still here.)
