Chase saw the knife coming and pulled an arm away to block it from hitting his face. He stabbed through his hand then, as he was distracted, Jason completed the tackle, bringing him to the ground and began pummeling him. Chase tried heating up for defense, but that just made it worse. Jason's arms took defensive measures, solidifying his fist to rock so he wasn't burnt, but also adding pain to the blows.

Carina turned from a wolf-dog to a hawk, squawking angrily at David. She wanted to fight Chase, but from what she was observing, that wasn't what David wanted her to do.
-
David watched thoughtfully before raising his arms. Dozens of knives appeared in the air and hovered. Then they slammed straight down at Chase, passing through Jason without touching him and buried themselves to the hilt in Chase's body.
-
Chase was now motionless under Jason.
Jason let out a sigh and stood up,"I wonder how far that got us?" He gave a glance over at David. He knew they would probably still be hunted down, but he didn't care. At least this Creatus wasn't the one doing it. -
"1 step forward." David began in a somber tone, but then continued, "and 5 steps backwards. We just caused a mass panic, caused the deaths of many public officers, and there is massive property damage. This is why the regular humans hate and fear us. They know that most of us can't be bothered with them... they are the Greeks... and we are the Titans. Our arguments cause devastation and death in their world." He bowed his head silently for a moment in remembrance of the men who were killed before turning and walking away. The silent command to follow was easily understood.
-
Jason just stood there,"Well let me tell you why that's bullsh*t. Now with what's left of the public officers hearing his plan, they know what would have happened if we didn't do anything. He would have continued the hunt, eventually maybe getting us, then he would have all the power, probably getting more killed. And besides. But you're probably right. These *ssholes probably don't care how much we just did."
-
"It doesn't matter who you are, what you are like, or why you did something. if people think you are a monster you become one to all." David said.

I'm sick of looking for those heroes in the sky
To teach us how to fly
Together we cry, we cryCarina shifted back into her human form, her anger obvious on her face. She stood in silence, however, and waited to see what would happen.
OOC: low muse...
There comes a time where every bird has to fly
At some point every rose has to die -
"You know what, I'm done", Jason sat on the ground,"I've got no reason to live. What's to look forward to? I'm going to continue running and hiding, just to get hunted more. You guys at least found some happiness. Yeah, you guys are friends, but that's all. Sorry if it's selfish, but I'm going to let them take me, no struggle."

Together we cry, we cryCarina's eyes instantly softened and she rushed at Jason, pulling him into a tight hug. "No! You can't do that; I won't let you!" She cried as she pulled him tight to her.

"What good am I if I keep rebelling?" Jason asked, giving her a questioning glance.

Together we cry, we cry"Stop thinking like that, Jason. I won't let you die even if you want to," Carina said, looking up at the boy defiantly.

"Then give me a reason to", Jason kept a straight face.

Together we cry, we cryCarina scowled as she tried to think of a reason. "Things would be boring without you... and David will let you fight; he won't let me fight because I'm too rash, so I'm not too useful," she said with finality.

"Boring? I wasn't aware I effected your guys' lives that much. Which is highly unlikely. You guys seemed fine the time I was off dodging the guards and such", Jason continued to argue.
-
David looked at Jason with an emotionless face. This was a side he had wanted to hide from everyone, but he had no choice. This was the side created by years of war. He had been forced to become a solider as a child and he had seen the hell of war. "Carina. Let him go."
-
Carina turned to look at David a fury sparking in her eyes as she shook her head.
-
Jason stayed completely silent and closed his eyes, not planning on moving.
-
"He has seen to much. Felt too much as well. He is a broken man. Death is a mercy; one that I will give to him." David explained solemnly. He gave a nod of respect towards Jason before continuing to walk away. He knew this was something that Jason would face alone and he would not remain or put Carina in danger. He tossed her over his shoulder as he passed her.
-
Carina screamed inaudible things as David carried her away, beating her fists on him violently.
