Your a prince, it has been told that you are expected to marry the snobby princess from across the river but you dont want to. You run off and unexpectedly finds a girl you would much rather marry, but she is a commoner, not royale at all.
Vanessa walked through the woods. She was on her way to the river where her brother sat fishing.
Charles, angry at his parents, walked along the bank of the river, hIs blonde hair windswept and his blue eyes sparkling with anger. He was slightly above average height and was quite handsome, he had been told he had to marry a snobby princess.
Vanessadidnt know it buut was headed straight for him. Behind her she heard guards on their horses running. She started running, the river is royale property so people are not suppose to be on without royalepermission, whichshe did not have. She looked behind her and in the process ran into Charles
Charles stumbled and his piercing blue eyes flashed with anger. "WHAT D-" he started to shout but stopped when he saw the pretty girl before him. He hesitated slightly before asking softly "what are you doing here?" He still seemed slightly annoyed but not so much.
"Prince! Im sorry!" She gotup and straightened her dress
He gave her a small smile. He glanced at the guards who didnt look happy, he waved his hand and they put down their weapons. "You do know this is royal property right?" He asked but not horribly, just amused, tilting his head slightly.
"Yes, sir"
"Then why are you here" he asked
"Sorry sir. I dont really want to say"
"Tell me" he told her waving his Guards away entirely and they trotted off in reluctance.
"Im sorry. I know i broke the law. I was coming to see my brother. We meet by the river since he leaves in the other kingdom. Im sorry sir. I understand i must be punished
His smile widened "you don't have to be punished if no one finds out" he told her
"You found me. Rhe guards saw me. I hurt you. Im a bad person sir. I should be punished. Why wont you punish me?"
"Because you didnt hurt me, the guards didnt see you as such and why would I ?" He askex
She looked at him confused "you lost me sir"
"It's Charles" he told her still with a smile "I don't see why people can't come to the river just because we own it."
"Thats the kings rule sir charles" she curtsied
"S he doesn't need to know about this does he" he told her
"Who? Your father?"
H sighed slightly, she didnt seem to understand "yes my father"
