"Sure." Kamikazeflight muttered, trying to shake off her sad feelings.

Hawkpool smiled but knew she probably was still upset. He sat down in the side of the clearing. "Would you like some?" he asked after he took a bite.
-
"Sure." Kamikazeflight said, taking a bite of the prey. "Not bad for leaf bare."
-
"Hmm." Hawkpool agreed, "It's very good. Hopefully leaf-bare will be over soon. I can't deal with another cold night!"
-
"It will be over eventually, but all of us will have to endure it." Kamikazeflight said.
-
"That's true." Hawkpool sighed. Taking his last bite of prey he got up. "What do you want to do?" He asked.
-
"I don't know." Kamikazeflight shrugged. "Perhaps a walk?"
-
"Ok." Hawkpool stretched his tired limbs with a yawn. "Let's go." He headed off to the place where they had met earlier. "So," Hawkpool sat down, "It's a pretty sunset isn't it?"
-
Kamikaze nodded in agreement as a stray breeze blew on her beautiful tortoiseshell pelt.
-
The breeze chilled Hawkpool and he saw how beautiful Kamikazeflight looked with her fur. He shifted a little closer to her.
-
Kamikazeflight looked over to him with a slight smile.
-
Seeing her smile made Hawkpool feel nice. He shifted over more until his fur touched hers, hoping it wouldn't upset her. Hawkpool purred in contentment.
-
Kamikazeflight twitched slightly in alarm but did not withdrawal from his touch.
-
Hawkpool noticed the twitch and shrugged away a little. When she did not try to move back, he went back over to her. Feeling warmth seeping from her fur he put his head down. Happy and sleepy he feel asleep.
-
Kamikazeflight padded his head lightly with the tip of her tail, looking out as the sun set below the horizon and the sky turned black.
-
When Hawkpool woke up he instantly felt bad. It was pitch black. Not even the moon was showing. "Kamikazeflight? Where are you?" he asked standing up. He couldn't feel or see a thing in the dark.
-
"Still here." Kamikazeflight mewed, she was looking up at the stars.
-
"Oh. Ok." Hawkpool sighed. His sleepiness probably kept him from seeing her and the stars. Now that he thought about it everything looked clearer. Hawkpool sat back down. "Well, sorry about that. Falling asleep and freaking out, I mean." he apologized.
-
"Not a problem." Kamikazeflight purred,
-
"Good." Hawkpool glanced up at the stars again. Then he looked at the moon. "Wow. It's almost sun rise. You never fell asleep at all?" he asked.
