    The kit isn't taken off the altar until it gets its name, even if it takes all day. Sorry, I should have explained this first, but now at least you know for next time. I'm really sorry.

    ~IC~ In the little kit's dream, a beautiful, powerful cheetah with eyes which flashed with fire and ice padded towards her.
    "Greetings, young one. I am Mafdet, and I preside over your being and your soul. I see that you have a most honourable path ahead, should you try hard and be loyal to me and your Clan."


    Mafdet extended a paw to point to the ground before the kit. "Look, and see who you are."
    The kit looked at the ground and saw a young nettle plant. She looked up at Mafdet.
    "Remember all I have said." said Mafdet. "Now, Nettle, awake."
    The newly named Nettle woke up.

    Nightbreeze sat out of the camp, looking up at the stars. She hasn't felt so close to her ancestors since her naming ceremony. Those were the days. She thought longingly. It had been a long time since she had met Mafdet. It had been raining outside the camp, not that it mattered, and she had been the most excited she reckoned shed ever be. The dream had come relatively fast, and she had been stunned at how powerful Mafdet had seemed. She had simply told her to look at the ground, Night, the place had been pitch black, with small stars dotting the whole sky. It had been wonderful.

    ~IC~Blizzard fell asleep. A beautiful cheetah bounded gracefully over to him and purred, "Greetings, young one. I am Mafdet, and I govern your being and your soul. I see great faith in your heart, but if you do not give your all in the moons to come your path can only lead to the altar. But train hard, strive for greatness, and you shall have it."


    Mafdet flicked her tail. A snowstorm began, whirling around the kit. "Look hard, young one, for this is what you are. Depart, Blizzard, and I hope it will be a long while before we meet again."

    IC: Star thought back to her own ceremony. She remembered Mafdet showing her a cluster of stars. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. She wondered what these kits were seeing.
