Down, Down, down, down,
Down, Down, Down, Down,
Take me, take me
Outta here, it makes me
Feels so, feels so
Na-na-nana-na
Baby, baby
Here we are all crazy
You don't have to worry
Na-na-nana-na
Alice sat in her garden. The mid-day air was still fresh, and glistening with dew. Her mother was out tending to the pretty yellow roses, and her little brother was off terrorizing the cat. "Poor cat" Alice sighed. Alice observed her left hand, it was wrapped in bandages because she had cut it a week prior. After a few days her mother had tied a ribbon around the bandages to make them look nice. On the day of the accident she had been cutting something, she couldn't exactly remember what, and she hadn't been paying attention and had cut her hand by mistake. Her mother had thrown a fit, and hasn't allowed her in the kitchen since. Alice layer down in the grass, it's soft, pillowy leaves reaching into her auburn hair. The dew was shaken off, and small flies drifted lazily into the air. She rested her hands on her stomach, and watched the clouds roll by. She used to do this with her father sometimes, before he joined the army, and went missing. They still hadn't had a funeral, but Alice still believed that her father was alive. Sadly, her mother and kid brother believe that he has passed away. They always jumped to conclusions, and even though they were always right Alice could never agree with them. Alice just didn't know when to let go when it came to things like this. She had a few friends, but a lot of them visited family during the holidays. Leaving her alone, and bored out of her mind. Her eyelids grew heavy, and they fluttered open and shut multiple times. The clouds wisped around in the sky, in a hypnotising way. Alice found herself struggling to stay awake. "Don't fall asleep" she told herself. No use though, her eyes closed and weighed down so much that she couldn't open them. In her dream she awoke in the garden, the cat, her brother, and her mother were gone. A short figure stood impatiently before her...
So follow me down (Where to?)
Out of this town (With you)
Girl you're moving way too slow...
So follow me down (Which way? Down, down...)
I'll show you around (ok)
There's a place we gotta go...
