once merrick got close enough, he swung his sword at rose, tring to cut off her head.

Ellie closed her fists and slammed them together, and her black, shineless sword appeared in her grip. She swung Iceshadow around, trying to force him to avert his attack.

merrick quickly just swung his shadow at the girls sword, making the sund of metal clashing. then he swung for her head, trying to kill her. (i'm notused to power-play, so this is fights with me)

Ellie swung Iceshadow up to block Merrick's attack, taking a step back. His attack was powerful, though, and her arms trembled a bit as she did so. She slashed at his arm, remembering the weak, painful point she'd bandaged just an hour ago.

the blade hit his arm, and blood started pooring out. but this only enraged merrick to the point where he went on rampage, of strong, and fast attacks.

Ellie struggled to fend off his attacks. Within minutes, She had a long and stinging but not serious scratch on her arm, and a more serious cut on her leg. She risked a feel for a shadow, a spot of shade, a cloud over the sun, anything, but found nothing. She couldn't run to the shadows now. There was simply nowhere for her to go.
Soon she was backing up, blocking as much if not more than attacking. She nearly cut herself with her own sword.
That woke her up. Focus, you blithering idiot, she snarled at herself. She bared her teeth at Merrick and suddenly took the risk of going on the offensive, stabbing at the boy's torso.

merrick couldnt move becouse of the vines, and as the blade pierced his skin, and went into him, barley mssing his lungs, he screemsed in agony. but the minute the screem was done, he looked at the knife in his body, and pulled it out, watching the blood come out with it. he ccut the vines with the knife, and took another step to attack the girl whom had stabbed him, but instead, he had fainted from pain.

Jake followed.

"You okay, Rose?" asked Jake.

Jake hugged her lightly.

He blushed a bit pulling away.
