    Shade walked, trying to scent a victim

    Goldclaw hesitated but he started telling her the story." When I was only a couple moons old, my family and i came into this clan. I was made a apprentice with SpiritFire, and my parents were warriors. But I was supposed to go into the deathlympics. I was so scared because I'm not the biggest cat and I knew I was going to die. So to protect me, my parents took my place and competed in my place. They were both brutally murdered, and that's why SpiritFire is how he is. He wanted to become so strong and powerful so he could never be defeated. And I feel guilty because if I had just sucked it up, maybe I would've won. Maybe I would have died. But at least my parents would still be alive and SpiritFire wouldn't be like he is today" Goldclaw managed out in a whisper as he cried still.

    Runningheart held back tears, her eyes evidentally moist. She nuzzled him in a friendly way, her voice cracking in emotion as she spoke. "Goldclaw...I'm so sorry....I wish I could help, I really do.", she did her best to comfort him, wrapping her tail around him. "We all go through tough times...but this...this is infinite. If I could help, I would,"

    Goldclaw nodded slightly as if he understood. " I know. You are doing a great job at helping already though. I've never been able to open up like this before. Thank you for being here for me" Goldclaw needed softly as he wiped his eyes with his tail and with his Dark green eyes he stared into her mismatched ones. He returned the nuzzle he have to him as he slightly smiled a little.

    "You're a very strong cat, you know. I'm not sure if anyone else could live through what you have. That takes a lot of strength, and you evidently have the right amount. I know it might still hurt, but...you've lived through it, and so did your brother. You've got to be proud of yourself. Believe it or not, you inspire me. I've always been the one craving adventure, but was too scared to go. Too scared of the clan. Too scared of Dawnstar...", her voice trailed off as she tore her eyes from his. A few tears rolled slowly down her muzzle, and she let them fall to her paws, staring down at the ground.

    Lilacpaw wondered around the forest for a little while looking for herbs. Lilacpaw soon found a bush with the herbs she needed growing on it. She started to take a few herbs of of the bush, she looked up suddenly as she heard cats nearby. Lilacpaw quickly grabbed her herbs and ran to the badger set. She hand't gathered many but it was better than nothing. She quickly ate a few and placed the rest near the back of the den, she began to feel a bit better but she knew to completely cure herself she would need at least the rest of the herbs from the bush.

    Goldclaw gave her a worriedly look as he moved her face back to his with his tail." Hey. Dont ever stop craving for that adventure. One day..... I think, No I don't think. I KNOW... This will be over. One day, our clan will be at peace again. And you'll get your taste of adventure that day. I promise you... It will come. Your inner strength is proven by the hope you give yourself. And Thank you. No one has ever told me that before. It might just be because I haven't had any strength either. Not for a long time" Goldclaw mewed as he smiled a reassuring smile.( XD I totally just used my profile pics quote!)

    IC: Shade had nothing much to do.

    Runningheart smiled back, her eyes glinting with appreciation. She leaned forward and touched noses with the tom. " Thank you so very, very much, Goldclaw. I really appreciate your help.", she meowed softly pulling back. She was glad the two of them got along. They could help each other out.

    Goldclaw smiled slightly again." Don't mention it. Anytime you need anything else, I'll be here to help you out" Goldclaw mewed as he grinned, a grin he hadn't smiled in a very long time. He nuzzled her in a friendly way as he returned his gaze to the pool that showed the deathlympics.

    She returned the smile politely, turning her attention to the murky pool as well. Fornreassurance of herself, amd the tom, she twirled her tail with Goldclaw's.

    Shade began to sniff out a unnamed apprentice. Quickly and quietly, Shade followed the scent trail, bring careful not to walking into a trap, and then he saw the apprentice, his back turned to Shade, eating a mouse, then there was another one, a she cat, but only a kit. And so far, they hadn't scented Shade yet because it was about five fox lengths away, and upwind of them. Shade smiled wickedly and swiftly charged the male. Shade snarled at the apprentice and pounced successfully on top of him, and slashed open his neck, causing scarlet liquid to gush out of the apprentice's neck. Shade's jaws and paws were covered in blood. Shade then pounced on the small she kit and just the impact of Shade's body against hers crushed her small and fragile frame. Shade made sure the kit was dead and looked up.

    SpiritFire smiled and laughed as he watched Shades kill. He then started cheering happily.


    Goldclaw watched his brother as he turned his eyes slowly onto Runningheart as she twined their tails together. He smiled weakly as he slowly licked her chin. He smiled again as he purred softly, just loud enough for her to hear.

    Shade then went off to find more victims

    Runningjeart was concentrated on the games, watching with hope and fear. Times like these were dark, but now with Goldclaw here...somehow everyting seemed much better. When he licked her chin, she smiled soflty and looked over at him, purring.

    Sorrelkit saw a flash of fur walk by and heard padding. She smelled Shade. And more cats. Sorrelkit darted up a tree, and quickly launched herself at another. She went from tree to tree when she hoped she had lost Shade.

    Shade scented a cat, jumping from tree to tree, then Shade growled and chased after the cat

    lilypaw and lilacpaw heard sorrelkit screech in the distance. the two apps ran out of the badger set towards the sound. As sorrelkit came into view they saw her being chased by shade. Lilacpaw slowed down, terrified. Lilypaw ran even faster, ready for a battle. Lilacpaw watched her sister dart ahead, unfazed by the danger they were in.
