    "Uh-Uh- Echokit, my name is Echokit. and i ran away after my mothers death to join windclan." Echokit feared she had hurt the apprentice and began to silently back away.

    "Which clan were you in before?" Seabreeze shot back almost immediately. She doubted the kit meant harm but likewise, no harm in checking.

    Echokits tail drooped at the warriors disaproval, and the painfull reminder she had no clan. "None, my mother died from a dog attack. My father always hated us, he left and didn't come back for 2 moons. i had to teach myselft how to hunt, and i caught food for my brothers and sisters. my father came back and voiced his dissapointment that we were still alive, then left again. so -so -so" Echokits voice cracked, "He killed one of my brothers, i ran away to join the clans." she said.

    Seabreeze turned away. "If you must speak with someone about this, I am not the one. You'd be best going off to find Sca-Gravelstar." She'd nearly forgotten Scarredstar was no longer with them.

    "I'm sorry she fell out of the tree." Echokit said before rushing away to hide herself like she had when she had fled her murderous father

    "Uh, yeah." She muttered, a frown on her face. "Should I try again?" She said weakly, glancing up at the tree, then at the patch of flattened grass where she had landed after her drop.

    "Are you sure you don't want to take a break?" Seabreeze asked kindly. "If not, then we'll continue--but only when you're ready."
