Tigersoul stared blankly at the floor. He was in total shock. He kept staring not moving a muscle except maybe to blink. He was familiar with almost all the cats in ThunderClan and couldn't believe said cat had died...

Firebrand's jaw dropped again. "Her mother?" she gasped, her eyes wide in surprise. "Oh dear. No wonder she collapsed." She prodded Jayheart gently. "Jayheart?" she purred softly. "Can you hear me?"
-
Jayheart nodded blankly.
-
Tigersoul walked over two Jayheart and sat down."Hey J,sorry about your mom,I'm sure everything will be all right," He signaled to his mate to help him try and cheer her up.
-
Nodding again, Jayheart pulled herself to her paws. Shaking her fur, she put an overly fake smile on her face. "Right! Sorry bout that. Do you guys need anything?" Her voice cracked.
-
"No,no,do you need anything,I've experienced all of my family members dieing, and no one in the right mind gets over it that fast," Tigersoul said putting his tail on her shoulder.
-
Firebrand nodded in agreement. "It's always hard at first," she mewed gently. "But after some time, you just have to accept that they aren't coming back. But for now, dedicate yourselves to the Clan and its needs. It helps to be busy."
-
Nodding, Jayheart allowed herself to be fussed over by her friends. "She's all I had, ya know?" HEr mother was the only one who had ever had hopes in ehr about being a warrior. HEr father had given up as soon as she was injured, and she knew the clan figured she'd becom an elder.
-
Firebrand nodded again. "I understand," she purred softly, memories of her own mother flooding her mind. Her mother had passed away when she was still an apprentice.
-
Jayheart sighed. "I need to get something for pain..." dragging her leg limply, the white and silver she cat limped over to the herbs and gathered some thyme for shock and poppy for pain.
-
The ginger she-cat nodded. "Understandable." She sighed, leaning against Tigersoul.
-
"Do you guys need anything? Are your injuries hurting?"
-
"Mine aren't," replied Firebrand. "How bout you? You definitely need some time to recover."
-
Jayheart shrugged. The one thing about her and her mother, was they both just shook things off. They didn't like to show any kind of pain. "I'll be good,"
-
"So will I," Tigersoul mewed. He looked at his shoulder which was stinging like fire, but he was a prideful cat and would never reveal that he was in pain.
-
Jayheart nodded. "Alright. But if you need anything, and I found out you didn't tell me, you'll be missing your tails!" She joked.
-
Tigersoul laughed and smiled."I promise I'm good,"
-
Firebrand put an angelic look on her face. "Don't worry, I'm living proof that I'm an angel," she mewed solemnly, keeping a straight face. "I'm such a good cat that StarClan decided I deserved to be revived."
-
With a sarcastic snort, the crippled she cat rolled her eyes. "Uh huh, yeah, sure. It that's what helps you sleep at night."
-
"StarClan rewards me with undisturbed peace," the ginger she-cat replied. "Unless, of course, this fella here wakes me up." She gestured to Tigersoul cheekily.
