  • Lanternkit found it to be a dreary, dreary day. Nothing was happening for her, her life wasn't moving. Yeah she was a quite, but she was two moons away from apprentice-hood! Most kits have had something happen to them by now. Maybe she needed some friends. Maybe it was somebody who would make her life better.

Who knows? Fate doesn't always come to you themselves. You have to go find them! They're probably stuck in a tree somewhere anyways. Lanternkit rose her beautiful body in search for a playmate.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Harmonypaw dashed into camp, a very plump rabbit in his strong jaws. He had won a race. The tom and his older friend had exchanged a few teasing words and a congrats every now and then. Then the parted opposite ways. Harmonypaw dropped off his rabbit in the clan's fresh kill pile like it was nothing. He flashed some teeth, which were almost perfect, and beamed. The tabby cat had now suddenly found a kit in front of him. She seemed to be looking for something...possibly company.

"Why hello," Harmonypaw said, his striking blue eyes fixiated on her. The wind blew, choosing his face for a target. Harmonypaw, though, stood his ground, closing his eyes whenever the wind hit. His groomed pelt messed up now, and he looked less presentable. The tom's lips were in a straight line.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]The small kit heard a noise from behind her. Who was that? It was obviously WindClan, nobody would dare pick on a weak clan in a good moment. She turned around to find an unfamiliar tom trying to speak with her. If it was friendship he wanted, friendship he'd get.

"Hello. Don't you think it would be more polite if you stated your name after saying hello?" The elegant she-cat mewed, her icy blue eyes staring into his.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]"Acutally, I've never thought of that," Harmonypaw answered, not moving his eyes off of hers. Her eyes made an impression on him; they looked different, mysterious, and many other things that he could not find words to describe. "it seems set up when you say so; I like things to happen naturally." A purr rumbled from his throat. "But, if you'd like, my name is Harmonypaw. Don't ask why I named that."

The brown tabby let his eyes fall for a moment, to the leaf he moved around with roughly covered paws. His lips parted with a sigh as he remembered his mother's reason, a very vivid and clear childhood memory.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0]She purred. The way he acted was cute. "Well, close enough." She commented. "I'm Lanternkit myself." The pure white she-cat let a smile shape her maw.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]The tom looked back up, smiling back himself. Her smile was contagious. "So, Laturnkit, what warrior names could you think of yourself? I don't believe many names can be made out of the one you have now." Harmonypaw tilted his head to the side slightly, as if to be thinking very hard. And a list was made relatively quickly. "Laturnlight, Lanturnlit, Laturnglow, Lanturnwish, Lanturnhunter..." He went on, not stopping until he stopped himself. "Oh, sorry. You answer first."

Harmonypaw's eyes were wide and open; looked promising. But promising to what?

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0]"Well, I was thinking of Lanternlit myself, it's always... clicked to me." She responded, using her cute little smile again. "What about you? I don't really assume many tom-like names can be made with Harmonykit, no offense." She commented.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]He shrugged. "I haven't thought of much, only one. Harmonyhunter. I guess we've already pre-planned, hm?" Harmoypaw twitched his nose absentmindedly. "Aren't you big enough to be an apprentice by now?" he inquired, curiosity growing. The tom already had a hidden stash of questions waiting for Lanturnkit.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0]"Frankly, no. I don't want to be an apprentice anytime soon, but being 4 1/2 moons, I suppose it's coming soon." She shook her head silently.

[i'll have my friend continue this because i'm leaving. 8C farewell xc][/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px][farewell piper! i'll miss you. -shattered heart- oh, and nice to meet you dancer.]

Harmonypaw nodded, already deciding he liked Lanturnkit already. "But what's not to like about being and apprentice? You get to get out of the camp, into a completely different world," he countered. A debate, he thought, would be fun.

  • [nice to meet you to ^_^]

"I know but... I have to admit. I'm kind of afraid of the world outside of camp." She said, unable to look him in the eye. "I wish I could be a warrior and just laze around all day." She refused to look back at her new companion.

"Well then," he said, "you'll just have to avoid being a lazy butt if you want to be respected among the clan! You've got to work for it." Harmonypaw swayed his tail from side to side, his blue eyes moving the same way. "Hey, do you want to grab some kill?" His tummy rumbled, as if to agree completely. Oh shut up bossy, he thought.

  • "Well, sure." She responded with a stomach growl and a mew. "Race you to the pile!" She challenged, bolting away to the fresh kill pile.

Harmonypaw grinned, and ran, his paws pounding on the ground. The sound made from the impact was pretty big. Now, he skidded to a stop, narrowly avoiding knocking a fellow member of Windclan to the ground. Thank Starclan he didn't! The tom scanned the pile carefully, trying to pick a suitable prey for the two of them. "What's your favorite?" Harmonypaw asked while digging through the pile. He could sacrifice his cleanliness for now; it'll probably be worth it.

  • "Yuck. Same here. How's this?" he said, pulling out a fat bird that usually was bound to land. Harmonypaw held it out for her to see.

[forgot to ask before: you are aware of the plot, right? :) ]

  • (A little bit… actually not really. XD)

She shrugged. At least it would be easier to pick out this bird's feathers. "Sure. I'll wait for you to pick before I dig in."

  • [they will fall in love, but not so quickly. harmony love lanturn, starting off as a crush and all. but, lanturn has only thought of him as a big brother. so after harmony confesses, they avoid each other for a while, trying to sort out their feelings. lanturn kinda rejects him, yada yada ya, and realizes she acutally loves him and comes back. but i'd like to plot more, especially after the great confession happens. :) ]

Harmonypaw laughed lightly at this. "Alright." He led both of them by a shaded area, and plucked the bird throughly. He even cut it up some to prepare it for Lanturnkit and him. Harmonypaw finished it off, licking his lips. "Ready," he announced.

[sorry for such crappy posts. xD]

  • [that's fine, you should see warrior cats rp on toontown v.v seriously. the worst one i've seen was like this: -meow turn red- meow being what they do when they don't recognize the word.]
[in other words, no worries :P and thanks for filling me in ^_^]

Lanternkit started to eat small bites, trying not to stuff her face into the bird.
