  • Frecklenose sat at the mouth of her den staring out into the night. SHe sighed she felt like something in her life was missing but she couldn't quite figure out what. She padded over to the pond nearby and stared down into the water. a pretty tan speckled she cat with green eyes stared back at her. She dipped her head down and touched her nose to the water sending ripples out over the smooth lake and distorting the image.

  • An image appeared next to hers. Crystal-blue eyes and a orange tabby and white face next to hers. "Are you okay, Frecklenose?" Flametail asked, the flame-point siamese looking up from the water and at her. His blue eyes sparkled brightly in the moon-light.

  • Soul sat in the clearing, close to an icy blue river. His silver pelt blew swiftly in the wind. His green emerald eyes gazed around at his surroundings. He raised to his paws, padding over to the river. He carefully lowered his body to the bank of the river, lapping the water quietly. His tongue brushed over the cold water as it flowed through his muzzle. Soul glanced up, seeing a she-cat. He flicked his tail, starring into her eyes. A lonely feeling washed through him as he glanced back down to his reflection in the water.

  • She looked at Flametail and sighed "I don't know" I just feel empty inside . She looked up and spotted Soul. "Who's that?" She asked.

  • Flametail looked over at Soul, shrugging his shoulders. "Maybe just a loner." He meowed, his orange tabby tail flicking back and forth.

  • Soul flicked his ear and lapped the water again. He kept his gaze on his reflection, not bothering to look up. The wind blew his fur hard as he scowled at it, pressing the fur down into place. He layed down, setting his front legs under him and sprawled out. The Tom let out a soft yawn, looking back to the water, seeing the reflection of the moon atop of it. He looked at every little detail of the dark figure, it was soothing as he pawed at the water carefully, sending ripples across the water, messing the moons appearance up. He frowned, as the ripples slowly disappeared.

  • Flametail nodded his head as he watched the odd cat. He seemed no harm. His orange tail flicked back and forth before finally resting neatly over his paws.

  • She stood up. "I'm going to go talk to him" she told Flametail. She slowly padded over. Lhi I'm FawnleapL she intrudiced herself

  • He heard rustling in the bushes behind him as a squeak came from it, "What was that?" He peered at the bush. Slowly, he got to his feet, stretching his limbs out. He carefully inched over, looking down as a mouse scurried out. "Oh," He meowed, not bothering to attack the helpless thing. He sprawled back out, shaking his head at the small thing. He saw a she-cat pad up to him and introduce herself, "I'm Soul," he said, glancing at her.

  • Flametail watched her curiously, his bright blue eyes showing no emotion. The tip of his tail kind of wagged, thumping gently against his right paw.

  • "And you as well," Soul let out a soft purr and smiled. "Oh, Am I on your territory? I apologize if I am." He said, wincing at the thought that he might be attacked being on this territory.

  • Flametail watched the two interact, the tip of his tail still lightly thumping against his right paw. He let a small smile grow across his muzzle, but for a second his blue eyes darted around to make sure there was no cats around other than them.

  • "Alright." He nodded, glancing across the water. "So how are you?" Soul questioned, sitting up so he was at her height.

  • Flametail's ears perked with interest as they began to cross the river.

  • "Ah, I see." He meowed, having the feeling of loneliness wash over him again. Soul wasn't sure if it was because he would like a mate or if it was because a lone wolf had killed his family.

  • Flametail stood up and stretched, the wind ruffling his fur a little bit, which he didn't bother to fix.
