Willowpaw's training

    "I can't wait to start training!" He said trying to conceal his excitement because he knew that his mentor would be out of the warriors den soon, "she will be so glad to hear I already asked the elders if they needed any help," He told him self in pride

    Littlestream padded out of the warriors den and glanced around for her apprentice.

    Willowpaw spotted Littlestream in the clearing and ran up to her he felt a rush of joy so exited to tell her all about the great things he had done, but before he began he blurted "Can you take me hunting? Please!" He looked at the ground ashamed of him self, he knew better then to beg, but he really wanted to hunt.

    Littlestream considered for a moment. "Have you done your camp work yet?" She asked, eying him questioningly.

    "Yep, I even asked the elders if they needed anything," he told her with a gleam of pride in his eyes, "but I could help the even more if I got them some fresh kill,"Willowpaw added quickly.

    "Fine." Littlestream acquiesced. "Just for a little bit." She padded towards the camp entrance.

    "I am going to be Windclan's best hunter ever!" He said with his head held high. They walked out of camp, they were about a fox length away from camp and he lost his footing in a rabbit hole.

    Littlestream whipped forwards to pull him out. "Be more aware." She said simply.

    "I meant to do that," stammering for an excuse, "just checking if a rabbit was in there that's all," his fur hot with embarrassment.

    Littlestream chuckled and broke into a run towards her favorite hunting spot.

    Willowpaw smelled something foul and by the alertness in his mentors eyes she smelled it too. He saw his father, Oakbreeze come running up to them, "Badger in the territory!" Oakbreeze said panting for breath.

    Littlestream nodded at Oakbreeze. "Willowpaw," She instructed. "Go immediately back to camp and raise the alarm. Get a few more cats for back up." She ran in the direction of the smell.

    Littlestream soon located the badger and waited for some more cats to arrive before attacking.

    Littleatream watched as the badger built itself a new den.

    The badger froze then took off running. A few moments went by before a meow for help was heard and Oakbreeze ran up to Littlestream and said "Willowpaw!- badger!- attacked!"
