Hollowsong laughed and stood back up. "That was really good for the first time. Now, about that last move, it was a smart idea in general but I am larger in size and gravity is pretty quick. If I was a fatty, I'd have gone down -plop- and you would have been squished for sure! But otherwise, that was really good. Your feint was a good move."

Leechpaw blushed from the praise. "Thanks!" she said. I like watching warriors fight.
-
"Alright, now we'll move on to claws and teeth. We won't fight each other with them yet but you can practice on trees and prey. I assume that using claws are pretty self-explanatory and straight forward. With teeth, when you bite, sink 'em deep and don't let go. I suppose that's obvious though. Typically, if you're going in for the kill, you'll go for the throat, the jugular vein. If you're going to stretch the fight out or just try and injure your opponent, go for their limbs. Try it out." Hollowsong used her tail to point at the dummy she'd set up. It'd taken a while to fix it up. "Most of our prey are a lot smaller than us so they'd only be good for practicing the direct kill with. I set up this dummy so you can practice going for limbs. Typically, when you're in a battle, unless your opponent really sucks, you won't be able to kill them in one blow. So you'll need to know how to disable or handicap them. You don't have to do it now, but every now and then, practice play-fighting with the dummy."
-
Leechpaw stared at the dummy. "What is that?" she asked. she prodded it tentatively, then drew back quickly, as if she was scared.
-
"I'm honestly not sure what it's supposed to be," she admitted sheepishly. "I just put some random stuff I found together. Anyways, the point is it works. Erm...but do not, in any circumstance, feed it to a sheep."
-
She stared at her. "..."
-
"...Yeah, I don't know either."
-
"Ok." Leechpaw crouched and leaped under the dummy, swiping at the leg. The dummy fell to pieces and landed on her.
"Was that ok?" she asked, slightly muffled by the rubble.
-
"Yep," Hollowsong chirped. "'Cept, I didn't know it would fall apart that easily."
-
"oh, well," she said, crawling out and shaking herself. "That was cool."
ooc: cool you got eggs
-
ooc: yep, just a few minutes ago. BTW, would you know how many times they need to be clicked to hatch? Do you have an account?
Hollowsong laughed.
-
ooc: no it always depends. when there is a hole in it dont worry it didnt die, it is about to hatch. if it is cut in half, its dead. it has to have at most 3 or 4 days left to hatch. if you look up dragcave click sites on google you will find websites to put them on so people can look at them. dragcave.wikia.com is very helpful. whats your username?
ic: "So... what do we do now, with no dummy?" she looked up hopefully. "Will you be the dummy?"
-
ooc: Ah, that's very helpful. username: LonelyCadence
ic: Hollowsong laughed. "Funny kit. Alright, sure why not?"
-
ooc: nice.
ic: Leechpaw grinned and crouched. she dashed under hollowsong and slid out behind her as fast as she could, hoping not to get squished.
-
oc: Dank you.
ic: Hollowsong watched Leechpaw carefully, just in case her dahling apprentice tried something funky.
-
Funky indeed. leechpaw, now behind hollowsong, swept both legs out from under her mentor, at the same time trying to flip her over.
-
"Eep!" Hollowsong landed on her back but quickly rolled away. "Rolling, rolling, rolling, rolling, ro-" She rolled into a rock. "Owie!"
-
leechpaw laughed and pounced at her mentor, her eyes glinting. "I wish every battle was this easy!"
-
Hollowsong giggled. "Yeah, well not every cat you face is going to be standing still~!"
-
"actually, lying still," she corrected her.
