• Dee chuckled. She popped her finger onto the side of the jar where some peanut butter was slipping and popped it into her motuh. She swallowed, an stuck her tongue at him with a small laugh. December leaned back down on her pillow, smacking her lips "This is good peanut butter." She said, stretching.

• "It is Ember's speciality," Asher replied with a small smirk, bringing his knees up to his chest, fatigue overcoming him within a matter if seconds,"How much longer? I was always horrible with math," He said with a grin, wondering when they would arrive in Chicago. He wanted to start taking pictures as soon as possible.

• December looked at the watch on her wrist. "Six hours." She yawned. She reached into her bag and pulled out the large blue journal. She opened up to the same page and wrote soemthing.
Hm...Just tried Asher's peanut butter. Really awesome! Still not as good as the fluff Rachel, Angi, and I make, but it's good! He says it's Ember's specialty. Neat!
December didn't bother to close the book. Everything on the plane was quiet, and peaceful. Slowly, her blue eyes closed until she was in a slumber, the book laying open in her lap.

OOC: Should we make the plane, like, almost out of gas half way through the night so they have to stop for a while?

• OOC; Sure! I'm alright with that!

IC; Asher reached over for the journal, reading the entry with just a small smile on his lips. He added his own bit to it as well;

Of course it is, December! We are pretty amazing at makin' peanut butter!
Signed;
The Ol' Country Boy, Asher!

• OOC: Kay!

December opened her eyes for a oment to check the time. "Ten thirty..." She muttered, before trying to fall back asleep. Then, an announcement came on. Attention! We will be arriving late in Chicago due to a low-fuel malfunction. We will arrive two hours later than expected. We are in Georgia, and are stopping in the Tennessee-Georgia border airport for fuel. Thank you. Dee jolted awake to hear that, and to see Asher with her vook. HSe narrowed her eys; she wasn't used to anyone touching her book..Besides Julian who had the largest of crushes on her.
"Hey, no touching the book..." She muttered, too tired for arguing. Honestly, she didn't care if sher ead the entire diary. It was more of her life story. And she trusted him. She dropped her head back on the pillow, needing sleep. She could really just remember the diary entry she had first written on the plane, and hoped her wouldn't read that, but she had a feeling he would.

June 9, 2013
It's my first time on a plane. I'm nervous and anxious and my heart racing so fast! I can hardly breathe. If the plane stops, there will not be anyone to comofrt me. Or so I thought. A boy is sitting beside me, handsome and kind, from Ember, Kentucky. His name is Asher. It fits him perfectly. His parrot, Splash, gives off a lot about his personality; he definetly enjoys animals like I do.
I used to say not to trust love at first sight, but now, that feeling is coming on. Hard. He's an amazing guy for sure, and we've already spent the ride chatting.
Asher is wonderful. He's into photography, much like Julian...But, I don't want to speak of Julian. I want to speak of Asher. I honestly can't stop!
But what if I find love, and I never see him again? Is falling in love on a plane really the smartest thing. Probably not. But I don't care...I think I have a crush.

• Hearing her useless cry of protest before drifting back into sleep, Asher set the notebook right next to her chair, ready in case she wanted to argue. He had heard the announcement only a moment before, and was obviously nervous.

Pacing, dust soon surrounded him, the Georgia heat overwhelming Asher,"This isn't good. Splash shouldn't be out in this heat. And, my uncle... He'll be wondering, so worried," The young man said, fretting over, and over again. Taking the blanket off of Splash's cage, the bronze shone bright against the beautiful, yet threatening sunlight,"We need to get somewhere." He said, gripping both the cage, and his camera close, wondering if anything would happen.

• December clutched her journal to her chest, the dust swilring around her. Sighing, she paced back in forth, the cage with her kittens by her side. She saw Asher pacing himself, and frowned, biting her bottom lip. Sis is gonna be so worried! Maybe I should call her... Dee thought. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her phon. "Ugh..No signal?!" She muttered angrily.
She slid the phone back into her pocket, and begun pacing herself. How long would it take for the plane to get fuel? she wondered.

• "How long is this supposed to take?" Asher murmured to himself, obviously distracted by his relative's worry over him, rather than the heat. Crouching besides Splash, the male met the parrot's gaze intently, as though an idea was forming. Although, this wasn't what was happening. Taking two of his fingers, Asher slid them through the bars of the cage, stroking the bird with care, as to be as gentle as he possibly could,"Do you have any ideas, Splash?" He questioned, a small grin forming on his lips at even the slightest thought. Turning away, he found himself gazing into December's blue eyes, and feeling such a spark, enchantment overwhelming himself.

• "I think it's supposed to take an hour. First, they have to abort all passengers. Second, they have to get the fuel out from sommerhwere. Then, they have to fill. And finally, they have to get the plane started again!" December sighed, obviously hearing what Asher had muttered. "Kate's going to be so worried! Plus, the movie, Safe Haven, starts in five hours, and it's going to take four hours to get to Chicago! She's gonna think I'm dead or lost since I've never been on a plane before!!"
December felt angered and worried and nervous all at the same time. Depressed, she slouched onto the ground, tremvbling as she bit her lip. She gulped, staring off into the sky and silently praying. Her anger aded, l;eft with pain throbbing inside her heart. She grabbed her journal and slapped it onto her lp, ripping out her pencil. Dee rapidly begun writing another entry.

• "Why worry over a movie — is that what you called it? When we could be here for... Who knows how long?" Asher replied, a bit ungraciously at first, but then softening a bit,"Here," He said, handing her a small container, which held a small booklet of pictures,"Look at them awhile. They'll help, I promise," Asher said, obviously sure of himself. The pictures were calming, of beautiful sunsets, the lake that surrounded Ember, even a small wild cat that he had managed to photograph. Staying quiet, Asher stroked Splash gently, hoping December would gaze at the pictures; even for a minute, or two.

• Eventually, Dee did calm down. She grew quiet, eyes widening as she stared down at the pictures. Why should I worry over a movie...? I have him to comfort me. She thought, flipping through the small booklet. "These are beautiful, Asher." December whispered, finishing looking at them.

• Taking a hand, Asher put the booklet into his pocket, safely tucking it away for later uses,"They're pictures I took when I was about... Eleven," He replied, emerald gaze still focusing on Splash the entire time. With a bit of hesitation, and courage, he eventually met December's gaze once more,"Photography is my life. I haven't any other strength, considering I have a disorder called dyslexia. I stumble while both reading, and writing. That's why I never went to school, never had any education at all."

• December nods slightly, staring into his emerald eyes. "My best friend Angela has dyslexia. She's alwasy struggling to read...to write...I try to helpher, but...she never thinks she needs irt and fails. Then, she gets stressed and-" She shook her head, not wanting to focus on the longing feeling she felt to be with her best friends again. She bit ehr lwoer lip again, squeezing her eyes shut.
"I'm not used to not being around them. It's difficult, I...I've known them all my life." Dee murmured, taking deep breaths. "You may think it's strange. Everyone else I know does." December said, shrugging, her eyes still closed. "But those three are closer than best friends to me and...and they feel like family." It was strange, revealing something so big to someone new. She hugged her knees to her chest and burried her face into her knees.

• "It makes complete sense," Asher replied within a matter of seconds, his emerald gaze flitting away,"I am also assuming you have a... Boyfriend at Miami?" He questioned, although knowing the answer would be yes. After all, why wouldn't a beautiful girl, such as December, haven't a boyfriend; or at least a crush.

• December looked up, wiping away a small tear. "N-no...Defiantly n-not." dee stammered, feeling embarassed by her sudden outbreak. "There's just a boy ho's my best friend named Julian. He has a crush on me, and I don't like him back." December shrugged, arching an eyebrow and looking him straigh in the eye. "Why do you ask? Do you have a girlfriend back in Ember?"

• "Me? Never! I'm not exactly the kind girls would fall for," Asher replied, with a light life. But the way he had explained it made even the thought seem outrageous.

{Sorry for short post, museless, and tired.}

• "Don't say that...There's probably some girl out there perfectly...Maybe closer than you think." She replied with a small smile, before sprawling out her legs and looking into the sky again. She grabbed her journal and scribbled something down.
I wonder if he likes me...I think I might've just revealed that I like himt hough! Stupid me, being all stupid and junk...

• "Probably not. Anyhow, you'll probably learn to like Julian sooner, of later," Asher replied once more.

{I am so sorry for short posts!}

• { XD It's okay! }

"Ew! Defiantly not!" December said, shaking her head. "I keep telling him that we're just friends, and I don't want to be more than friends! I want to mee someone that really, really gets me...And Julian is not that person!" Deeadded with a laugh. "Her thinks I like dancing; no. He thinks I dislike water; uh, no way! He thinks that I have a perfect life; wow. No!" december sighed, shaking her head.

• "He probably assumes you have a perfect life because his might be difficult. I am not taking sides, but I am quite opinionated," Asher replied, with a slight grin forming on his pale lips. Despite the Georgia heat, and unhappiness surrounding the two, he couldn't help but feel a bit of enchantment. Even though they would probably never see each other after the plane trip to Chicago, he couldn't help but feel a bit of passion, possibly even love for December. Inching closer, he laid his hand on hers, wondering if she took the gesture strangely.
