    The bobbed tail big cats flattened their long, tufted ears. Their huge bodies loomed over Hungerpaw. The biggest one stepped forward, looking down at the apprentices with a bitter expression. "What brings ya'll here?", he asked, his deep voice like thunder. Hungerpaw meowed, "What brings you here?" The Lynx narrowed his eyes. "We're just passin' through. To let ya'll know," he shoved his huge face into Hungerpaw's, "we have no trouble making ya'll extinct." Another one of the Lynx snickered, "they can be Lynx chow!"
