  • [ooc] Yes, I'm sure you all don't remember the famous Askele/Raven who broke two toms out of the Lighthouse xD
    Well, she's back.

[ic] The ebon she-cat stood still, silent as a ghost. Another pawstep and she'd be back on RadicalClan territory. Funny, how out of all the places she could spend the rest of her twilight years, she chose to came here. But she'd already promised herself beforehand she wouldn't do anything... illegal. After all, it would be interesting to see how they'd react to her. Most of the cats probably wouldn't remember her unless she spoke her name, or even told them her story.

Well, Raven, as her birth name was, or Askele was the name she went by, was and is still a talented healer and scientist. Her role in RadicalClan was a mere bit of fun, to be honest. An experiment, in scientific terms. She'd pretended to join RadicalClan and spent a couple of moons secretly monitoring their lifestyle, behaviour if you must. But trouble started brewing as soon as she visited the Lighthouse, and befriended two toms. Runningpaw, a tabby apprentice of ThunderClan, and Rue [I think], a loner. Eventually, after her program was over, she snuck them both out of the Lighthouse, almost getting caught herself, but managing to escape.

So why the hell is she back?

  • Auxillia sauntered along the border, as she renewed the scents. Suddenly, up ahead she saw a she-cat. The feline looked familiar, but for some reason she had hated memories towards the she-cat. It suddenly hit her in a flash: she was the one who broke out two or three toms. She kept downwind and out of sight of the loner to see what she'd do.

  • [ooc] Aw... fail muse cookie? Too burnt? xD

[ic] Askele stood still for a moment. Sooner or later one of the Radicals would be stalking her. She couldn't sense anyone, but it's not like the forest would be empty of all Radicals. This was their territory after all, it wouldn't be deserted, especially at this hour. She decided to test her theory. If someone was there, they would hear. If they wasn't, she wouldn't sound like an idiot anyway. "Why don't you talk to my face instead?" she said, not moving.

  • [Font=georgia]"Words." Came a soft, delicate voice from behind the ebony she-cat. The daughter of Auxillia stepped out into the open and examined the she-cat with a questioning, intense hazel stare. She had already pin-pointed her mother's position, not far away from the area. Unfamiliar scent clung to the trespasser's pelt and despite any danger she could be in, the exquiste long-limbed calico kitten remained calm and placid. "Peace?" Prudentia questioned in a short, slightly authoritative tone, wondering if this she-cat would be deemed as a threat.

  • Askele looked down at the kitten curiously, her pale eyes searching. "Hmph, well that depends on how peacefully I'm treated. No point in sheathing my claws if I can see yours." There was intelligence in her eyes as she regarded her. "You smell familiar, kit. You're not her sister or her cousin, so what are you?" She inclined her head, knowing she'd answer her own question. "Ah," she smiled in brief triumph. "You're her daughter." Then the smiled dropped into a frown. "Really? I didn't think Auxillia would let a tom ten meters close to her. Sure you're not adopted?"

  • [Font=georgia]"Peace." Prudentia meowed, gesturing towards her delicate sheathed paws with a flourish of her fluffed tail. No need for battle if she would be willing to explain herself. The corners of the kitten's maw turned downwards in the beginnings of a frown at the ebony she-cat's words. Heritage. Who cared about the tom she never called 'father'? "Blood relation." She answered, her usually emotion devoid tone now taking on an irritated quality. Who did this she-cat think she was? Waltzing onto RadicalClan turf as if she owned the place. "Reason?" The calico questioned, her large hazel orbs narrowing the slightest bit at the trespasser's arrogance.

  • "If you say so," Askele shrugged, taking a seat. She curled her spiky tail around herself, though not in a reserved way. "Well you see, uh, kid. A long while back, I broke two toms out of jail here, or the Lighthouse as you so wittingly call it. Not that that's relevant to my reason for coming here. As you can see, I'm getting older. Since I have some history here, whether it's a good or bad one, I'd like to stay here. My wandering days are over, and I daresay I'd like to live a few more days before I either die at a Radical's hand or another's. Is that good enough for you?."

Cocoa was listening closely to the she-cat and her sister's conversation from where her mother hid. She felt important hiding near the leader even though she knew Prudentia was aware of them. The calico tabby was about to speck when the stranger spoke of her unexpected past. She broke toms out of the lighthouse? That was forbidden right? The large kit's opinion of toms was still developing and she couldn't quite understand why everyone hated them so much.

Cocoa wondered why this cat return to Radicalclan. She wasn't going to be welcomed, in fact it was very likely for her clanmates to force her to go back to wherever she came from.[/fancypost]

  • [Font=georgia]Prudentia listened to the feline's tale and nodded at the end. It made sense; to return to a place where you felt safe when older. But... it seemed that this she-cat had a history within their ranks. Maybe involving the leader, who was positioned nearby. "Approval first." The slender kitten meowed, casting a glance towards the foliage where her mother and sister rested. Auxillia would need to take the situation further - she was the supreme law of RadicalClan, after all.

  • OOC: oh no, it was good, it just takes some time to digest. And I'm trying to store the muse in my muse-pouch, much like a squirrel does with its cheeks and nuts, you know? Anyways, I'm trying to gather enough muse to climb out of this low-muse hole. I've decided that I've been down in here for far too long, and I need to get out, break free, fly like an eagle. Which reminds me of one of my novels that I should post another chapter to. What were we doing?

Oh right, roleplaying. Yeah, my ADD sometimes gets the better of me. Oh, and being overtired really doesn't help with keeping me on track. Anyways, back to roleplaying~

    IC:
Auxillia watched as Prudentia approached the loner and began to question her. Auxillia was impressed by her daughter's skill, and she would comment on it as well, but she didn't want her daughter to think that she was better than the rest. No, it might also seem like her opinion was biased, because of their relations. Cocoakit came in not long after, and Prudentia said something about approval, and looked at Auxillia's direction. She would've rather stayed hidden, and only jump in when it was absolutely neccessary, but this might work as well.

The calico emerged from the bushes and approached Raven, or Askele, or whatever the h*** her name was. "How's this going to go down, loner? You've committed a crime; I can't overlook that. Are you here to turn yourself in, or were you only here to see if you were a criminal?" Her answer would depend on how nicely she was treated.

  • [ooc] Climbing back up the rabbit hole with a pouchful of Wonderland food...
Don't know why I said that xD
Go watch a movie, that how I keep my muse up. My dad hates it when we rent too many movies v.v so I try my best to find a DVD I haven't watched in a while.

[ic] Askele turned to see another kit come along, with the same smell. A sister, no doubt. "Fair enough," she commented when the older sibling spoke of approval. She was slightly spooked when the kit turned to where her mother apparently was, and found that she couldn't pin point her in the first place. Her skills usually never failed her. Standing up to face the leader – or co-leader, she wasn't that far up the notches yet – Askele adopted a calm attitude. "I'm very well aware I've commited a crime, and I doubt I'd be back for the sake of making sure that it was one. Yes, I suppose you could say I've come to turn myself in. You see, the truth starts to dawn on you when you're at my stage of life. I can't fend for myself for much longer, so I figured I should at least square things with your clan than be struck down by some other casualty."

  • [Font=georgia][ ooc: Muse. Such a vague topic... ]

Prudentia watched as her mother jumped from the covering and questioned the loner in a threatening tone, making the kitten flick her ears backwards the tinest bit. It reminded her of a lion circling an injured, sickly antelope. The odds were definately not in the trespasser's favor. Thankfully, the black she-cat was honest about her wrong-doings. This could be taken into account, though the calico kitten was a bit doubtful as to the severity. Something about toms? The insightful daughter of Auxillia turned towards her mother and glued her intense hazel optics onto the alike calico's face, an almost pleading glimmer noticible just faintly within their mottled green pools. To help those in need...

  • Auxillia blinked. "How noble," she retorted. "Of course, that doesn't account to much here, when the crime is helping free toms. What ever went through your mind that possessed you to do such an act? You had no jurisdiction, but perhaps if you had pleaded a case to one of the leaders, then we might have considered your offer," she said, and frowned.

  • Askele blinked, nothing more. "Well, what do you plan on doing to me then?" she asked. "I can be a valuable aspect to your clan. I've travelled the world my entire life, I know more herbs than your best healer and I've seen more than you could ever see. There, you have my qualifications." If she wasn't accepted, Askele was slowly getting round to that. She was still at the edge of the border, after all. In fact, she hadn't took the extra step into the border. She was still outside.

  • She snorted. "Wait, you want to join?" The calico laughed at the absurdity of the thought. "Not before you've had a punishment. Tell you what," she said, as she calmed down. "You'll do two moons of manual labor with the toms, and then you may do whatever you wish. Joining is included in that," she added. "Sound fair?"

  • [ooc] I almost took Auxi for a regular warrior xD What inspired the new title?

[ic] Askele couldn't help the tiniest of smirks. "You want an old cat to work? If I join, I would be working for RadicalClan till my last breath. If you think I'll spend my twilight days idle and bathed in comfort, you think wrongly. I am a rogue, and I've worked all my life. I'm not going to stop when I think I've found a permanent vicinity. I will hunt and if I can, fight. But most of all I will heal and teach. There is no such life of a clan elder for me. If you let me join, you have my services till I can work no more. How many of your cats would do that? Tell me, Auxillia. You come across any other clan cat and ask them, 'how do you hope to spend your final years?' How many of them would say they'd rather rest and be fretted over by the younger generation?" Her pale blue eyes grew more intent. "How would you like to spend your final days?"
She inclined her head, hitting a more serious note. "If I lie this time, I will truly deserve punishment. But otherwise, you'll expect no idleness from me. Does that appeal to you?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font: 12px georgia][sup]{ temping auxie c: }

"Oh, you might say that, but I have no way to tell whether or not you're telling the truth," the leader noted. "You say you're ready to work? Prove it to me first. My deal still stands, and it's likely to be the only one that you're offered."

  • "You think I'm lying, do you? What would be the point of lying? What would I gain from lying to you? It's not as if I'm capable of doing any harm by breaking a promise that I'm going to work. Very well, I'll start off with hunting. Don't expect I'll take ill-treatmdnt lightly, though. I'm not on the same level as your view of toms."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font: 12px georgia][sup]"Oh, you might work, but we're not about to lose any more toms under you," Auxillia snapped. "Won't take any ill treatment? Should have thought of that before returning."

  • Askele shot her a slightly amused look. "I have thought this through, you know. No need to be so serious about it. You can kick me out whenever you like." She inclined her head, and stepped past Auxillia to taste the air.
