"Paw? That's a weird name. My names cotton. My mommy went to heaven and my daddy doesn't want me. I ran here to do something food with myself. And now...I've saved a cat!!!" Cotton leaped up and down joyfully.

"Are you ok?" Cotton mewed.

"Yeah... So, you have no where to stay, kit?"

"Nope. I have absolutely nowher- wait a second... Are you the cat who was taken by those kittypets?!" He widened his eyes.

"I uh mean housecats..." Lol

She looked at him. "How do you know about that!?"

"I hid. Those cats...those cats are scary! I knew them once and they are bad!"

She nodded. "Hey, you wanna place to stay?"

His eyes lit up once more. "Yes! Where?"

"Follow me. Let me get some things first" she said

"Like what?"

He cocked his head. "Herbs? Like healing plants? I.. Know them!! Are you looking. For dock or catmint?"

"I need borage, poppy seeds and dock."

"Oh! I know those! And I know where they grow! Come on!"

She followed

"This tree has dock" he said pointing to an old oak. "That willow has poppies. And borage... You need to go to the brambles to get that!"

She looked at him. "How do you know this stuff?"
