Melody shrugged. "Perhaps your right. I hope he does get on time." she murmured. Looking over at Angela again she shook her head. "I was gonna to but I just couldn't find it in any of the shops around where I lived, though I really was fascinated 'bout it. I read quite a lot though." she replied. "Have you ever heard of The Secret Garden? I love that book." she said after a second, like before a bit changing the subject and getting faster as she spoke just to half-grin again and kept quiet for the next few moments, biting her lower lip not to pop with anything else which might have confused Angie or Seth, if he was still listening.

Angi smiled brightly. "Yes! I love that book!" She said. Passengers, we will be taking off in few seconds. Please be prepared. Angela sighed. "That boy's not here yet? Ugh...Now we'll leave without him; he'll have to take another fight alone with people!" She said with a small frown. Her hands were shaking a little; yeah, she was nervous.
Angela took a small breath and leaned back. -
Melody grinned, she opened her mouth to reply but was cut of once again. "Poorly. I wouldn't like that." she agreed as the message was sent and with the noise as it made before turned off. She felt a chill go down her spine. She looked over at Angela which was shaking like Mel wanted to.
"Nervous?" she asked though it was clear. "I certainly am. I'm afraid of heights, you know" she confessed., just about before the engine seemed to start off. There come the few seconds mentioned before. -
Angela nodded. "Very nervous. I'm scared of heights as well. I'm used to swimming in the ocean or going on cruise ships." She gave a slight shrug, but it became her entire body going a bit upwards as the plane started to move forwards. Angi grinned. "Here we go!" She laughed as the plane raced along the ground. Finally, it jerked forwards, and raced into the air. Angela bit her bottom lip, heart racing. She looked out the window and smiled, looking at the ground that was getting farther and farther away. "God...This is so...nerve-racking!" She laughed.
-
Melody leaned forward listening to her. Through the window she watched as the ground started to whatsoever move along the plane. It was just plain the same. The the large 'vehicle' jerked up slowly, lifting with so much easy off the ground. Down there it everything now turned so much smaller. Her eyes glistened with amusement and they never left the window. Picking out of her pocket she found a chewing gum pocket and quickly popped one in her mouth. It stopped the ears from hurting while they were still going up she heard. She put one in Angie's hand as she was looking through the window herself. "Take it. It helps your ears from somethin' I heard it happens. Like they are-- you know what just sore for a moment or two. I think. I'm no doctor." she explained quite clumsily. She never remembered the name for whatever the rather sore experience for the ears on a plane was.
-
Angi smiled and popped the gum into her mouth. "Thans." She said, and added, "It's called popping the eardrum." She smirked lightly as she continued staring out the window, eyes glittering. It was beautiful out there. She saw the sky, the colors fully blasting out. The clouds slowly cruised along the dark sky. She sighed with happiness as she saw the ground disappear completely; below was just clouds and sky. "This is awesome!" Angi cheered.
-
"I knew it was something with the eardrum!" Melody said with a smile looking out at the thick layer of clouds as the only things visible now. The ground gone completely covered. She nodded, "It surely is" she chuckled in agreement. A grin stuck on her face at the sights out of the window. It was beautiful. She carefully took one of her smaller bags and took out her camera. First she took a picture of the sight themselves before calling a soft 'say cheese' to Angie, her finger ready to click another photograph this time with her.
-
Angela turned towards Melody, and stuck her tongue out slightly. When the picture was taken, she laughed and looked over at Melody. "How did it turn out?" She asked. Suddenly, she remembered how she had her diary, her journal. She reached onto the shelf and pulled down a blue, sparkly, untouched booklet. Suddenly, her hand flipped quickly to the first page. Blank. She begun writing in neat handwriting.
April 10, 2013
This is the first time writing in this diary. I'm using it for a trip, a beautiful trip to France. I wrote a short (like, four pages) segment about my life. So, I turned it in and BAM! I was the winner! I got on the plane and it is now taking flight...
I had said goodbye to Dee, Rachel, Julian, and my brothers, but not my parents. I was not going to waste my time for them. Here on the plane I am with Melody, this really nice girl I met, who won a contest, too! Photography! Julian loves photography.
Anywho, we left without one boy. He was late, and it was time our plane took off. So, out of boredom, I decided to begin writing. More later. -
Melody smiled, taking the photo. As she asked she showed it to her and copied the sticking out her tongue. Watching as Angela took out a book and began scribbling in it she remembered. She had a note pad to write the things she seen for her friend back in Tennessee. Though decided to write in it later. Looking over at the scribbling Angie's pen made as she wrote curiosity swirled through her and she glanced over Angie's shoulder, only seeing a hint of what there was to see. With her gaze concentrating on the window she felt butterflies form in her belly. "How long do you think it will take? To get there?" she asked.
-
"Hmmm...Four hours?" Angela suggested, closing the book and sliding the pen into the holder. "At the lest..." She slid her book into the large pocket on her black and rd purse. She gave a short sigh and closed her eyes. "I might...nap until...we...get there." She yawned, stretching her arms and leaning backwards.
-
Melody nodded with a sigh and stretched her legs a bit. "Before you get to it mind me borrowing the Beautiful creatures for now? Just for me not to die from boredom. And since it's such a good book you said it was.." Mel quickly inquired. As well she might read instead of talk to leave the fact of her phobia at the back of her mind. She smiled again at how sleepy Angie did look.
-
"Sure...It's in the black bag, biggest pocket...Just avoid the other stuff in..." Angela couldn't finish. She got absolutely no sleep the night before, and now just wanted to sleep away the ride. Her brown hair covered her face as she drifted ino slumber...
-
With a chuckle Melody reached out for the bag. Settling it on her lap she opened the pocket she was told and picked it out. Setting it back where it was she leaned back in her seat and flipped from the front cover to the back, where she found the little piece of writing, the blurb, and read through it. It really did sound good. With that she opened the first page and began to ready, yawning from time to time, feeling all of a sudden tired.
-
Bump? :c
-
OOC:
Soz! Have been really busy!IC: Angela woke up about an hour later. "Hey Mel. Do you...know what time it is?" She asked, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. She ha had some strange dreams, and still felt exhausted. She stetched her arms, yawning a loud way.
-
(( I just got home so.. I was too ^.^ ))
Melody peeked out from the top of the book. Half way through she shook her head. After a short pause she remembered her watch she kept inside her pocket. "Around 11:00." she replied then before passing her the book. "Do ya want it back now?" she asked before smiling again. With a blink she stretched out her legs. She barely moved since Angela fell asleep, which she was not used to.
-
If it's eleven and we board at 2:45...Than we still have four hours and 4fourty-five minutes left! Angi thought before answering melody's question. "Nah. I'm good." She said, shaking her head. "You can keep reading if you'd like, or just borrow it until the flight's over." Angela gave a small shrug, rolling her shoulders and craning her neck.
