Falling Snow (A love story)

    Shadow glanced at her. He did have a small crush on her, but he wasn't about to admit it, besides, he had to find out his past. Who was the dead girl which was one of the few images he could remember? What type of life did he have before he lost his memory? What was his purpose? Many questions buzzing in his mind, he got up."I gotta go."

    She looked back up at him, she brushed a strand of hair out of her face,''oh, um okay.'' she said softly. She got to her paws ,''er, stay safe...'' she then slipped into the den again, but she paused and glanced at him again before disappearing.

    Shadow watched her leave with a tinge of regret, but he dismissed the thought, shaking his head. He could figure out his past on his own. Looking out at the snowy landscape with his hard, yellow eyes, he finally began to pad away from the den, his paws shuffling throught through the snow. Taking one last glance at the den, Shadow turned back around and continued walking.

    She poked her head out of the den, holding something wrapped up in a leaf in her jaws. ''Wait!'' she said in a muffled voice, she trotted up to him and dropped the package at his paws, it was about a dozen oran berries. ''You know... Just in case'' she said in a quiet tone ,''well um... goodbye...'' she then hurried back to her den, disappearing once more.

    Shadow nodded in thanks."Goodbye...." He said, watching her go back to her den. Looking down at the Oran berries, he picked up in his jaws and padded away, taking a last glance at the den.

    (Lol okay, There could be a day where Shadow is walking around when he sees Kiru being attacked by an escaped Mightyena *Which I will play if needed*)

    SOME TIME LATER
    Shadow lay in a tree, his tail curled up against his body and his head resting on his paws boredly. He still had the berries that Kiru had given him, the Luxray held them in his mouth, which were still neatly wrapped up in a leaf.

    Kiru was making her way through the thick blanket of snow, she was gathering some berries and whatever food for herself. She spotted a bush containing some berries, she went and began to dust of the snow that covered the withering bush with her paw. But she failed to realize that someone was watching her from behind some rocks.


    Spike (who had recently escaped from his trainer) watched Kiru from his hiding spot. He smirked devilishly as he began to stalk towards her, making sure his footsteps were muffled by the snow.

    Spike leapt and pounced her, digging his sharp talons into her shoulders causing her to bleed a little. Kiru let out a yelp as he pinned her down ,''Hello there pretty...'' he growled in a mocking tone, his claws sunk deeper into her flesh. ''Get off me!'' She cried as she whacked him with her horn (or whatever you call it), Spike stumbled back and rubbed the bruised part of his face with a paw. Kiru tried to scramble to her feet but Spike pounced her again, flipping her onto her back ,''No one hits me like that!'' he snarled ,''now you're gonna pay...'' ''No! Get off!'' Kiru growled through gritted teeth as she thrashed and struggled in a fruitless effort to free herself.

    Shadow perked his ears as he heard a female voice. Could that be...? He wondered, recognizing the voice as the absol he had met not to long ago. However, he didn't sit there any longer. Jumping off of the branch, Shadow landed in the thick snow, accidentally dropping his berries, but he didn't care. He ran as fast as he could through the snow and towards the voice. Seeing Spike on top of Kiru, the Luxray's fur sparked with electricity as he glared at Spike, his tail lashing."Get off of her, now." He snarled.

    Spike jerked his head towards Shadow and snarled,'' Oh and I suppose the big bad skitty is gonna make me?'' the corners of his mouth curled into a mocking smirk, he placed a paw on Kiru's throat and pressed down, causing her to let out a choke. ''Tell you what... Leave us to our business and I'll consider letting you off with a warning...'' Kiru blinked up at Shadow, she tried to move but the pressure on her throat increae when she did.

    Shadow flattened his ears angrily, his eyes narrowed, he growled and charged forward at Spike, using Tackle on him."I SAID GET OFF!!!!!!"

    Spike grunted as he landed on his back, he got to his feet and snarled as he lunged at Shadow, using Crunch and sinking his teeth into his shoulder. Kiru rolled over to her stomach and coughed, she got to her paws and turned her attention to Shadow and Spike, her brow furrowed.

    Shadow winced and hissed, stumbling slightly from Spike attack. Glaring at Spike, he used Discharge on the Mightyene.
