  • Ooc anyone can join as animals or people.

Ic. Alia glanced around her in every
direction. The sound of water crashing,
birds chirping, and leaves swaying in the
breeze, made her tremble more than
ever. She was 16, but curiosity got the
best of her before she even questioned
exploring the wilderness near the cabin
her family went to for the summer.

  • Can I join?

Shila padded around in the forest, terrafied. Her mother had dissapeared, and when she went to look for her, she got lost. She scrambled into a bush. For one of the most deadliest predators on cuagar mountin...shila the cougar felt very small

  • A wolf's howl awakened the forest, stretching over masses of land until the echos faded. Lupat was a normal grey wolf, no markings or characteristics to be proud of. But she could hunt. Really hunt. As soon as the she-wolf scented the girl, Lupa raced to kill, fire in her eyes.

    Can I join?

    Ooc. Yep!
Ic. A movement in the bushes made.
Alia slowly stalked toward them, but
stopped when she heard a wolf howl. Then
she dived for the bushes and landed on
something. To her surprise, it was a
baby cougar! "Awww cute", Aria exclaimed.

  • Lupa suddenly stepped in front of the girl and the cougar. Seeing they were just pups though, she was about to pick them up when another howl rang out. Palox. The terror of the forest. Bristling, the she-wolf prepared to fight, and if necessary, kill.

  • Terrified to the bone, Alia crawled up
a tree, the baby cougar in her sweatshirt
pocket for safety. She made her way
up the tree slowly and inched to the
sturdiest branch nearest to the top.
All they could do was prey that nothing
    would happen.

  • Shila squeak, curling up into a ball and nesling close for comfort, "d-dont w-worry, mm-my m-mamma will b-be here s-soon, and s-she'll save u-us" she stammered, eyes tightly shut

  • She hugged the little cougar and stared
cautiously at the wolves. In some weird
way, Alia felt that the grey wolf was
    protecting them from being eaten.

  • "I just remembered something!", whispered
Alia with excitement. She pulled out a
turkey sandwich in a ziplock bag from the left pocket.
Her mother gave it to her before she went
outside, but she had no patience, and
shoved it in her pocket for later. Taking a
peice of turkey from one of the halves,
she said to the little cougar, "here, you're probably
    hungry".

  • "Oh I just thought of something!", she
    practically shouted. Throwing turkey
to the wolves, she hopped down the
tree with the little cougar, and broke
into a run once she hit the ground.

  • shila still had the turkey in her mouth when suddenly she felt a thud. She opened her eyes and nearly choked with fright, they weren't on the trees! Shila began to mew, her claws slid out and she tried to climb Arila in her panic, "were are the trees! Why aren't we on top of one? The wolves might chase us!"

  • She nodde, trembling. Suddenly, she calmed down, getting happy, "wait, stop! Thats my den! I smell my ma!" she jumped down. Smiling she scented the air, "ma's close!" she squeaked, tugging the pink-pelt's lose fur (pants) she followed the scent stoping when she began to smell blood. She crept forward, into a bush.
She stood on the side of a clearing. She stood rigid, tears streaming from her eyes at the scene infront of her. The body of a female cougar lay sprawled in the ground. A bullet hole in her chest and cheek.
Shila didn't know what to do. She turned to the pink-pelt, hoping she would comfort her.

  • The poor animal lying on the floor made
Alias stomach flip. As a single tear shed
from her right eye, she picked up the
poor baby cougar and held her gently.
"I'm so sorry", she whispered as
they ducked into the dark shadows of the
silent cave. "Let's hide here, maybe
    it's safe ."

  • Shila nodded, curling up into a ball and snuggling close, "thanks for staying" she whispered, uncurling and licking the pink-pelts cheek before sliding into its pocket and falling asleep

  • She stroked the small cougars head,
    comfortingly. The sounds of snarling
wolves came closer. "We're safe here",
Alia whispered. But her mind doubted
    that. "Hopefully".
