• the young coyote pup was indeed heartbroken but she pretended she was okay, for Lynn did not want a sympathy party. it would make her look weak and Lynn did not look forward to that. shaking out her brownish-gray pelt, she padded forward, pawsteps light against the grass of the moor. Lynn was good at hunting rabbits but it was one of the good things she could do. but Lynn wasn't hunting, for she was taking a walk around the territory. these short walks helped her take her mind off coyotes like Astral or even Lynn's selfish sister, Sakura. Lynn sighed and paused before she accidentally crossed the border.

ooc: short post, sorry. i need to get to sleep.

  • Twitchpaw knew he would be in trouble as soon as he returned to camp. He just knew it. He knew he shouldn't have left, but it was a dare. You can't skip out on a dare! He had done that once, and it took moons for his den mates to get over it. They had been kits then. Now they were apprentices. And if he didn't do this dare, he would be made fun of. Twitchpaw, the lamest apprentice ever.

So, now he was in the middle of the moors, way outside camp. His dare was simple. Leave camp and stay out until moon high. The sun was only going down, so he had a while to go. The young tom was only 9 moons. Having just been apprenticed not three moons ago. But he still knew better. And he was twitching with nerves. Like he always did.

Twitchpaw was almost far enough away from camp when he smelled a strange scent. He had never smelled it before. But he was curious. So naturally, he followed the scent. All the way to the boarder. He looked up from sniffing and was staring a fox in the face. Well, it was only a guess. The creature may not be a fox.

He yelped in surprise and backed up. The tom was twitching even more now. He didn't get his name on a whim. He was a nervous twitcher.

Lynn yelped in surprise as she saw the cat and she slowly back away. the young coyote pup glanced at the cat, Twitchpaw, and tilted her head to one side. remembering all the cat words her mother taught her, Lynn decided it would be most formal to greet him in a nice manner. "Oh, um...hello. Me Lynn.", she tried her best to try to sound like a cat but her grammar wasn't the best for a coyote. she sat down, tail swishing back and forth as she waited for an answer, hoping that the cat would accept her.
