At the beginning of time, there were two wolves. They were known as Fire and Ice. Combined, they were the most powerful creatures in the universe. Alas, this alliance did not last forever. Fire turned on Ice, and Ice turned on Fire. There was a great war on the battlefield, Earth. In the battle, Fire and Ice destroyed each other. The wolves of the Earth mourned, and split into two packs, the Tribe of Blazing Flames and the Tribe of Freezing Ice. For eternity, these tribes would fight and go to war against each other. This is the Tribe of the Burning Flames.

Chiyo woke up and strode over to Matthias. "Good morning, Matthias." she purred. Glancing over at Katsu, the Omega, she asked Matthias if he wanted to go on a morning hunt with her.

Chiyo followed him. "So what will it be today? Elk, caribou, or moose?" she said, tossing a mop of black hair out of her face.

Chiyo slipped into the shadows of the looming pines. "I see a doe with a fawn." she whispered to Matthius. I'll take the doe you go for the fawn."

Meanwhile, Chiyo had slowly circled the doe. With one snap of her jaws the doe fell and died. Chiyo eagerly brought it back to share with the pack.

Chiyo eagerly ripped into the doe once she was into camp. Katsu sat quietly, waiting for the main wolves to finish their meal.

Raikou joined Matthius. "Nice hunting, guys." the young leader told them.

Katsu timidly went forward. Chiyo snapped at her and she yelped. Quickly, she ate the remains of the doe. Raikou returned to his den, exhausted from border patrol. Chiyo nuzzled Matthius.

"Matthius, I was wondering...I was wondering if you would like to be my mate." Chiyo blurted out.

Chiyo growled softly, content. "Thank you, my love." she purred to him.
