    Winter smiled and splashed water at him. "You know what hare-brain!" She said jokingly.

    "I do?" He asked innocently enough as she splashed him. "I believe I fell off first, no clue how you got down here,' he said his tail wagging under the water. He paddled around in a circle, then gave her a big splash, smiling happily.

    Winter laughed and swam towards him, wrestling with him in the water.

    He tried to laugh but instead got a mouthful of water. He swam away and got to a place in the river where he could touch more and then turned around smirked at her.

    Winter swam after him and regained her footing.

    He barked and pushed her back down. Smiling and chuckling he placed a paw on her chest. He puffed out his chest and proclaimed himself the King. But he took off his paw and helped her back yo her feet.

    Winter smiled, looking up at him and blushing softly. She got back on her paws when he helped her up.

    "You good?" he asked, smiling at her. He shook off his coat of the water, his dark brown pelt clinging to his body, instead of its usual fluffiness.

    Winter smiled back. "Yea, I'm good." She said.

    He smiled and chuckled, "Good," he said. Then he shook out his coat again. "Well, well," he said looking around, "How did we get here?" he cocked his head acting curious. The forest trees were surrounding the river, pretty far from the meadow.

    Winter gave him a freiendly shove. "You went sprinting." she answered.

    "Oh yeah, I think it was something like that," he said in mock thoughtfulness. He smiled as he swayed sideways from her shove and intentionally nudged her back.

    Winter grinned and playfully tackled him.

    He growled playfully and tried to throw her off. He laughed as he pawed at her face, careful not to hurt her.

    Winter laughed as they rolled down a hill. She growled at him playfully.

    He tumbled over her chuckling. He nipped softly as they bounced down the hill, smiling with little growls the whole way.

    Winter laughed as they landed at the bottom of the hill. She looked up at him.

    "Shhh, rest." Patch said, patching her wounds.

    Lakota looked down at her beaming happily. He saw how beautiful she looked but didn't say anything not sure what to say.
