Giza also stopped, shaking a bit, waiting for the claws to slash another bit of his face open.

"Uhn?" Giza eyed Luna, surprised. "Uhh...what are you doing?"

"You are dirty." she smiled and licked him again.

Giza was beyond confused now. "Uh...I've always been dirty...this feels kinda weird." (Poor guy. Never knew motherly love.)

Giza walked away from Luna quickly, startled and scared.

Angel & Echo & Ranger
Echo and Angel carefully sneaked into the den where Ranger sleeps in. He had always slept in way more than needed, and normally his sisters were the ones to wake him. Echo nodded to Angel, who in turn wore a devilish grin. She slowly padded up to Ranger and archer her back. Within a few seconds she was on top of Ranger, his ear in her jaws playfully. "Wake up, Ranger!" She yelled into his eat. With that Ranger shot up and shook Angel off of him, making the small cub fly down to the cold ground with an oof. She giggled and Echo helped her up, picking her up by the scruff of her neck. "Come on, Ranger." Echo said to him, her voice gentle and mother like almost. Ranger rolled his eyes and brushed past the two girls, "Yeah yeah." He laughed, Echo and Angel followed him out of the den.

Giza saw Ranger and the others. He was in view of the whole pride, in a defensive posture.

Snow lay on a rock, watching the clouds spin by. The white lioness had a dreamy look in her eyes.
Teppo scampered up to Angel, Echo, and Ranger. "Hi!" the cub's tail was sticking up.
Shadow followed the scent of Luna. Strange, it had become entwined with that of another lion. The black male quickened his pace, almost running, until he could spot Luna and Giza.

Giza stood where he was, unsure what to do.

''giza have you never had a bath?'' luna asked

"Uhm well...no. Not really. Mom was always preoccupied with Kovu." Giza admitted, sitting down heavily. "All she did was hurt me."

she walked to him. ''i am not your mother i will protect you and treat you like a real mother should.''

Giza looked at Luna. "R-really?"

she smiled softly and nodded.

Giza ran a paw along the scar over his nose. "No more scars?"
