dogs of Salem,OH

Kina,a husky pup sat behind a dumpster,sat dirty and lonely.

Kina heard the bark and was scared as she tried to hide under the dumpster.

Axel darted out from her hiding place and ran down the street, she had messed with some pitbulls earlier and they were still made.

Kina trembled as she hid under the dumpster.

she glanced around not letting her guard down.

Kina perked her head out from under and darted back under.

She comes out from under the dumpster and comes through a hole in the fence and sees rose.

Lexi raced down the sidewalk, a large T-bone steak held firmly in her jaws as three men chased after her, throwing brooms and rocks to try and slow the female Aidi down. But Lexi was smarter than them, she dashed around the corner, leaping on top of a garbage can and racing around the next corner. Lexi skidded to a halt as she ran, almost head first into Axel. "Move." she growled, jumping over her, and continuing her run. The three men were close behind, yelling and screaming after Lexi.

Kina saw the dog running and slipped under the fence into the yard where rose was in her kennel.

Lexi squeezed under the fence where Kina and Rose were, whipping around to face the men that had been chasing her. "Ha! Now there's no way you'll get me dirtbags!" she barked, dropping the steak at her paws. One man made a small grunt, before signaling to the other humans to follow him back to the butcher shop. Lexi smiled in victory, only noticing Rose and Kina now. She picked her steak back up, a warning growl rising in her throat.

Akita ran through the trash. The stray leaped over a small fence, and dodged a large pile of rubble. She didn't dare look over her shoulder, as the dogs were still hot on her trail. She spotted the large gate, slightly open, and squeezed through, running out of the large junk yard. Akita looked back only for a second, to see the large German shepherd's hot on her trail. The she dog immediately broke out into a full out sprint, feeling the cold wind whip at her face.. Akita closed her eyes, and propelled herself forwards. She opened her eyes once again, only to squint them as the wind stung her eyes. She ran into a small town. The deep loud barks behind her told her to keep going, otherwise she would have to say goodbye to her life.
