    Hawkblood smiled at Emberstar's sarcastic response. Emberstar was quite the joker. Hawkblood nodded when she said yes, but the "featherbrain" insult hit a little close to home, although it was a commonly used generic insult. Hawkblood shook the thought away.


    "If you deem so, yes, Emberstar. I would gladly take an apprentice. Oh! It also might not be a bad idea to give Sparkpelt an apprentice as well. He hasn't had an apprentice for a few seasons."


    Inwardly Hawkblood grinned. Although he was the deputy, he only ever had one apprentice at the start of his warriorship, and that was Sparkpelt. Sparkpelt became a wrrior only a moon later, he quickly picked up most strategies and attacks, and was quite knowledgable. Hawkblood hadn't had an apprentice since then, so he was eager for the opportunity.

    SunStreak watched MagmaLeaf race across the clearing to the warriors when he came back for herbs " when can I get up and help?" " when can I climb trees?" " when can I fight?" " when can I.." SunStreak stopped from her complaining as MagmaLeaf gave her a death glaire.

    Magmaleaf sighed. "Emberstar says that you can become a fully effective warrior ad it is effective immediately. Do not tell your clanmates of your vision- tensions are high at the moment and Emberstar will tell them when she is ready. Now get out of my den before you drive me crazy!"

    "YES!!!!!!" SunStreak cried dashing across the clearing and shooting up a tree looking uncannily like a shaft of light. SunStreak now far away the camp, yowled with joy at last she was free again 'free as the wind' she thought chuckling to her self. She looked down to see two glacial clan cats below. Battle senses turned on she leapt from her tree, landing on the first cat she clawed his back. Then feeling claws dig into her back, she turned a clawed wildly hearing a screech, she yowled triumphantly. Jumping, she landed on the second cat's head. Jumping again and clawing at the tom's face she landed beside the two defeated cats " now isn't this embarrassing" she chuckled, " two glacial clan toms getting their tails beat by a flicker clan she cat." "You idiot EmberStar told us came back at sunset" SunStreak mildly confused sat down and cocked her head " Why?" "Because we were going to talk about the fights and FrostStar disappearing you idiot!" "O" SunStreak said " I'm so sorry I didn't know, actually I just got out of MagmaLeaf's den, so you really can't blame me." She said as she helped them up and lead them to camp.

    Hawkblood walked ahead to meet the Glacialclan peace party and saw them up ahead. When he saw Sunstreak with the cats his eyes narrowed. Sunstreak hadn't been told to be there.


    "What are you doing with these cats, Sunstreak?" Hawkblood asked coldly, "You weren't supposed to be here," Hawkblood could see some visible scars on all three cats. He knew what had happened, or at least could guess what happened.


    "Come with me, Sunstreak," Hawkblood led Sunstreak to a tree shrouded in evening shadows. "Go on ahead to the camp to Emberstar," Hawkblood said over his shoulder to the Glacialclan cats.


    Hawkblood cleared his throat, preparing himself to reprimand the she-cat. He waited a moment for any pleas of mercy.

    All those cats are accepted- and i think I will officially roleplay as magma leaf from now on:3
    Ic: emberstar glanced up at the glacial clan cats arrival. She saw bleeding scratches on all three cats.
    "What-Sunstreak, I will so murder you. Hello, blizzard heart, frozenrain, and ivy frost. I deeply apologize for Sunstreak s unruly behavior. She is on occasion dafter than a kit. Come, we shall discuss things in my den. Do whatch you're tail, frozen rain, I believe it's on fire." She whatched frozenrain leap up, and turned to her den.


    Meanwhile, magma leaf was bending over ginger kit in intrest.
    " can you remember what this is for?" He flashed a poppy seed before the kit. She had a wonderfull memory for herbs.
    Ooc: who wants to mentor scorch paw and lightning paw? And okamiameratsu, I will be making shatter kit and russet kit apprentices soon if that's alright with you- hawkblood and sparkpelt will be mentors, k?

    Sparkpelt heard the commotion and went to check out what was happening, and saw the Glacialclan cats. His fur was on end (he hated/feared them), but he calmed down and padded up.

    Hawkblood heard nothing so started to talk to Sunstreak angrily.


    "I know you were excited about getting out of Magmaleaf's den, but you MUST exhibit self-control! I know you are quite the adventurous she-cat, but think before your actions! It is important you do so. Think of it: what would have happened if they didn't believe your excuse (I'm already starting to assume they haven't)? You most likely would've shattered chances of any peace between our clans! Are you paying attention?!" Hawkblood eyed Sunstreak, "I'm quite surprised they even followed you here. If it weren't for you almost looking like an unruly apprentice," Hawkblood put emphasis on the word, "I think we would be helpless at this point. We all want to get over this prophetical/Glacialclan business, but THAT isn't helping. That stunt of yours could've made those horrid visions become true ... none of us want that."


    Hawkblood took a moment to catch his breath.


    "Do you understand, Sunstreak? Good. Now get back to camp and keep a low profile," Hawkblood paused and added, "After going back to Magmaleaf to treat those scars of yours. Dismissed!"


    Hawkblood padded into the camp and joined Emberstar, "I took care of Sunstreak," Hawkblood whispered in her ear so quietly Hawkblood himself could hardly hear it. He then faced the Glacialclan cats.

    Emberstar nodded. Hawkblood would have been quite thourough. She led the Glacialclan cats on the least firey route to her den, before lashing her tail and guesturing to the camp.
    " as you see, we have nothing to do with Froststars dissapearace.We do, however , have an idea as to who took her. I suspect shatterclan."
    Her convictioun brought startled gasps, as not even hawkblood knew of her newest revelation.
    " but what would the shatterclan empire want with froststar? Have they not claimed enough? " ivy frost meowed, alarmed.
    " Word is that they have taken control of the mighty earthclan. A team of rouges from shatterclan is attacking rockclan." Blizzard heart growled." Have they not been satisfied in they're thirst for power?"
    Emberstar dipped her head. " I do not belive so. The shatterclan empire is at war with starclan itself."

    SunStreak hung her head and padded away to the entrence of the camp. Padding away she thought Why is it always my fault that bad things happen? She leaped up to the top of her favorite tree and curled up in the nest she had made long ago from branches, feathers and moss, and sleep for the first time in weeks peacefully.

    Hawkblood looked at the ground in thought. Shatterclan hadn't been spoken of in many seasons. Them popping up now meant bad news, for it was the Shatterclan leader {what was his name?} who took the life of his father, and almost his mother in a vicious attack of the nearby bird cliffs. When Hawkblod was first born the area was chock-full of birds. Now it is a dead zone, with small pockets of secluded birds taking nest in the area.


    Hawkblood stepped forward, "If I may," he said, eyeing Emberstar, "I believe we should make an alliance with each other. It should be temporary, but long enough to drive Shatterclan back into the shadows, if not straight into the Dark Forest itself," Hawkblood allowed a moment to let the words sink in.


    "In any case, we should not be attacking each other, alliance proposal or not. We can all safely assume that that was their grand plan in the first place. If we don't attack each other, indeed, fight alongside each other, we may very well take down this threat, albeit at any rate. Now, don't think this will happen immediately, I think any direct assault on our clans will take a long time. Unless Shatterclan has grown even more reckless and heedless than the last time I saw them, this will not likely be a major, looming threat until later."


    Hawkblood waited for the response.

    Otterpelt was walking through the forest to look for prey, and she lifted her nose to scent the area, and caught scent of a juicy squirrel. That would make good prey for Goldenfur and her kits. She thought as she lept onto the prey and killed it with a bite to the neck.


    Scorchpaw and Lightningpaw were shuffling their paws in the dust as they sat in the clearing. "What do you think Emberstar and the GlacialClan cats are talking about in there?" Lightningpaw finally asked.
    "I don't know." Scorchpaw admitted.

    SunStreak woke up a short time later. O no she thought I over sleep" I need to get some prey or else..." She trailed off not wanting to think of what EmberStar and HawkBlood would do to her if they knew she had been dosing, especially after she had attacked the Glacial Clan cats today. Leaping from branch to branch she caught sight of pigeon flock, hurtling her self toward them she managed to get three of the six birds. " what luck I'm in" she meowed to her self. After burying them she padded of in the direction of denser forest. On her way there she spotted OtterPelt padding in the same general direction. " Hi OtterPelt are you hunting too?" she asked curious.

    Emberstar, oblivious to the commotion of the clan outside, pondered this thought. The glacialclanners looked appalled at siding with the crazy fire loving cats, but blizzardheart nodded.
    " With shatterclan, an aliance would be a smart move. There is no telling what *cough cough* Dimstar or dark heart will do for power."
    Emberstar flicked her ears in suprise.What in starclans name is Darkheart doing in shatterclan? Does my brother have some sort of connection with dimstar? she shook her head to clear her stray thoughts away and looked up.
    " you should discuss it with your clan, blizzardheart. Flickerclan will not attack for, say, two weeks? We shall speak again then. Hawkblood, please summon a patrol to escort these cats to the border on a non firey route."
    She padded out of the den, streatched, and leaped upon the bonfire. She would wait until hawkblood returned before starting a meeting.

    "I know" SunStreak smiled happily, "actually I'm catching up on my hunting " then in a lower voice she added " I dosed off and over slept" after saying this she straightened and smiled. " I mean do you know what EmberStar and HawkBlood would do to me if they found out?" She chuckled even though she was only half kidding.

    "Maybe she'll feed you to the pheonix! Let's hunt and say that we were hunting for a while." Otterpelt mewed happily.

    "Ok, but first of all the Pheonix and I have a special bond too" she replied padding a little faster agitation slightly in her voice. " it's not just EmberStar you know!"

    Hawkblood nodded at Emberstar's command and motioned for the Glacialclan cats to follow him. "Sparkpelt!" Hawkblood yowled across the camp, "Help me escort the Glacialclan cats."


    At his word Sparkpelt bounded over and walked quietly with the other cats. No particularly icy { ;) } glares were exchanged so he assumed a possible alliance was at hand. Hawkblood murmured to the Glacialclan cats quietly, "And if you're uneasy siding with fire ... just know that we are equally nervous siding with ice."


    Hawkblood's somewhat cryptic words were in the cats' thoughts as they made their way to the border. As they parted Hawkblood mewed, "We come as adversaries, leave as allies. Farewell, Glacialclan." Hawkblood and Sparkpelt padded silently back to camp. As they arrived, they saw Emberstar prepared to speak to the clan.


    Sparkpelt took a seat among the warriors. Hawkblood sat at the foot of the GreatRock, warming himself with the bonfire. Hawkblood nodded at Emberstar showing he was ready to begin.
