Shadow a loner on Shadowclan territory, looking for a mate (Secretly, Toms only)

He was about to protest when a battle cry was announced and he felt something stab him in the back from behind as a cat leaped on him. Pain pervaded his back, causing his own reflexes to turn around and jab into cat's back. He felt another cat grab at his ankles and pull them out from under DareEye as he fell. Other cat's appeared and attempted to tear at his stomach. DareEye hit one in the head and got to his paws as he searched for Shadow. "Shadow!" He called for her but then a ThunderClan cat pulled him back and several of them pinned him to a tree as a few ThunderClan cats attempted to pin Shadow down as well.

"For the death of a loved clanmate... We shall have you pay the price... We'll kill your mate right in front of you, to watch her suffer as our deputy did!" The warrior spat, DareEye stared in horror at Shadow.
"No!" He fought the cats holding him down.
"Don't like that idea? Hm..." His face glowed in an idea, "How about this... Either we kill her... Or you do."
The images from his visions flicked in memory, "No... No, I-I won't! I didn't kill your deputy! I was only serving my clan!"
"And now we shall serve ours..."

A cat put their claws on Shadow's neck, DareEye yowled, "No! Fine! I'll... I'll do it..." He looked down. The cats threw him in front of Shadow and the dark cat fell hard on the dirt.
The spat on him, "Hurry up and do it already!"

DareEye looked up at her, his amber eyes burning with fear, regret and anger. He looked around him at the cats surrounding them as he slowly got to his feet. He hesitated to step closer to Shadow. The cats holding her down glared at DareEye. He slowly unsheathed his claws, seeing Shadow's chest exposed. DareEye could feel his own heart thumping and panicing within his chest as he felt his breath get caught in his throat.

DareEye clenched his teeth but then as he raise his paw to strike a blow at her heart, he moved his paw and it slashed the throat of one of the ThunderClan cats that held Shadow. Gasps and angry yowls appeared and they swarmed after the two. DareEye made a few blows and then bit Shadow's tuff behind her neck and pulled her away from the swarm and started to run, "Come on!"

"The river." He answered as he ran to avoid the sound of rushing enemies behind them.

When they reached the rapid waters DareEye slowed down. He swirved his head to see if they were still endangered by the angered clan cats. ThunderClan yowls gradually became more clear, DareEye looked back at Shadow and then jumped in the river.

He felt the full blast of the velocity from the waves. DareEye kicked hard to keep his head above water and floudered to find a rock to get a hold of. A glossy boulder came into view and the tom hooked his claws on the rock, holding on tight as he looked for Shadow. The ThunderClan cats didn't pursue them, knowing it wasn't worth risking their own warriors.

Luckly the rock was placed near the side of the river on the opposite side of which they were orininally on. DareEye grabbed her scruff to prevent her from being washed away as well. He helped her get onto the bank.

DareEye managed to get out of the water. He noticed Shadow shiver as her pelt dripped with the cold water. DareEye moved to warm her up with his body like a blanket and began to lick the water out of her fur on her head and neck, "Are you alright?"
