He sped the RV up and flew past them.

Alex sighed. "Thank goodness they can't run too fast. Can zombies evolve?"
-
He nodded. "Depends how the virus speeds up the transformation." He said
-
Alex shook her head. Calm down, she told herself. Like she often did when she was upset, she started doubling numbers in her head. 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1'024, 2'048...
-
He looked at her. "Why do you ask."
-
Alex shrugged. "I like science. And it might be a problem later. If they evolve, they're harder to defeat."
-
He nodded. "It's going to be a pain."
ooc: I might put those lickers and axe men from Resident evil.
-
"Unless we kill them all before they evolve," Alex gave a crooked grin.
-
He nodded. "That's a wise choice."
-
"Challenge accepted," Alex laughed. "So how d'you think this started, anyway?"
-
"Either 'God' has started the apocolypse." He said. "Or squirells drank coffee and unleashed this virus."
-
"I don't know. Have you read the news lately? Wasn't there some information leak about a secret experiment somewhere?"
-
"No." He said. "I never see or read the news."
-
"Why not?"
-
"I hate the news." He kept driving. "It's boring." Javier looked around and stopped at a gas station.
-
"Will anyone be working here?" Alex asked, handing him a gun. "It could be infested with zombies."
-
"I don't know." He said and walked towards the store. "If there is than at least i'll have fun killing them."
-
"Now let's not take joy in killing things," Alex chastised, only half-joking. "What if they find a cure?"
-
"Than the infected are safe." He said opening the door.
-
Alex sighed. She followed Jake into the store, gripping her gun tightly.
