He flicked his ear "yeah yeah, bat-cat, now listen, when we enter twoleg place, you best hide those things. I don't want to have to explain to your mother that you didn't return because pivket or sonny killed you thinking you were some kind of exotic bird." He looked back at the young shecat, his eyes nonchalant. "And no trying to burn my pelt off either, i'm very fond of it."

He huffed. "Some dragon creature you are." He growled and scented the air, sighing in pleasure as he picked up scents of his home. He padded along, pawsteps sure as he led the way towards twolegplace. He turned to her suddnly. "Do not mention Blue to ANYONE, understand? Not evento Diamond, don't ask her if she misses her mother don't even talk abou her old name icefeather." He growled and stared at the apprentice. "If they find out she's alive we'll all be killed. I'd rather not meet my death just yet." He flicked her ear with his tail and entered wolegplace.

"Yas moonstar?" Lilypawasked, walking up to her leader, blue eyes questionig

Mioko kept close to Whisperpaw, nodding formally at the cats who approached. "Hey, Mio's brought a new kitty." A large brown tabby purred, his amber eyes flashing. "Who's the pretty one Mioko?" He sneered and mioko hissed "back off picket. Where's Diamond?" He asked growling. "Oh, you're in a bad mood." Piket sneered

She stared at her paws, shuffling them on the ground. "yes, i-i believe i do need to tell you..." she said softly before looking up. Lilypaw sat down, drawing her tail along her paws and launched into the description of her dream and the prophesy that had been whispered in her ear, and told her of Frostedsoul's visits and how she and whisper had found out that the prophesy was talking about them. "I didn't mean to keep it from you. It's just- i didn't know what it meant or how it was going to affect everycat. I'm so sorry." She looked down, ears burning with regret and shame.

Picket ambled closer to Whisperpaw and mioko growled in warning. He stood in front of the small she cat protectively and picket sneered "oh, is e yours Mioko?" He jibed, "What, was losing Blue not enough for you?" He smirked and Mioko unsheathed his claws "if you put one whisker on this cat i will end you, slowly and painfully." He snarled. "Where's Diamond?" He snapped again, lashing at the toms face ith sharp claws. Picket reared back with a hiss. "You've got nerve demanding anything of me Mioko, if you're lucky, maybe we won't kill this one like we killed Blue, it was such fun, watching her lifeblood pour out on the ground." Picket flexed his vlaws and suddenly a silvery white blur knockedover the tom, drawing blood with thorn sharp claws. The shecat's silverflecked blue eyes glittered with hatred. "Don't ever talk of my mother!" Diamond spat and let the tom escape

"Father." Diamond purred and rubbed her muzzle along his flank. "I've miissed you so." She flicked his ear with her tail and he let out a rusty purr. She was the only cat who could do that to him and get away without shredded ears "and who's this young cat, been on an adventure have we?" Diamond teased and gently touched the shecats nose with her own "i'm diamond." She introduced herself, shacking out her long furred silvery white coat. Her back baws danced on the hard ground as if she were about to take off running and she flicked her one ginger ear.

Mioko stepped up and spoke to Diamond telling her of the Clan. "Will you come with me?" He asked and Diamond sat down heavily. "And.... and she's alive what-?" Mioko shook his head at Diamond's unfinished question. "I don't know how she is but yes Blue is alive."mioko said and Diamond lept up. "Let's go then!" She pranced on impatient paws. Mioko nudged Whisperpaw lightly, allowing her to lead them to the cave.
