Hawkfire dropped the bird in the fresh-kill pile, padding over to lay beside Jaypelt. "Mind if I lay here?" he asked, hoping the she-cat wouldn't be too uncomfortable with it.
-
"Nah go ahead I don't mind at all." Jaypelt yawned.
-
Hawkfire rested his broad head on his massive paws, yawning.
-
Jaypelt moved closer to Hawkfire and nestled her face into his pelt, Quickly falling asleep.
-
Hawkfire purred, closing his eyes.
-
Jaypelt woke in the middle of the night. "Hawkfire get up." She quietly mewed.
-
Hawkfire's eyes fluttered open and he lifted his head up, blinking drowsily. "Is something the matter?" he mumbled.
-
"Its time to get up." Jaypelt licked his face.
-
"Oh, okay." Hawkfire said, getting to his paws.
-
Jaypelt walked toward the entrence of the camp. She looked to the star lit sky. This is a great Idea.
-
Hawkfire padded silently after her, grinning. "I can't wait to sleep out under the stars." he whispered.
-
Jaypelt nodded. She quickly made her way to the field.
-
Hawkfire picked up the pace to keep up with her.
-
She laughed. She stopped and rolled onto her back. "Its so nice out."
-
"Yeah, I could spend an entire week out here." Hawkfire agreed.
-
"We can't do all that." Jaypelt looked over at Hawkfire. She loved the moon reflecting aginst his pelt.
-
"I know. But I can dream, can't I?" he chuckled, looking over at Jayflight.
-
"Yea I guess you can." The she-cat smiled.
-
"So, anywhere in particular you wanted to stay?" he asked, scanning the forest.
