"Oh, it's okay," meowed Jadeyn. "And, of course, I forgive you," she added, smiling. "I sort of like it here. I'm jealous, you get to live here and be wild, while I'm stuck living as a housepet." Jadeyn looked down at her paws.

Jadeyn's ears pricked and she looked up at Bunnypaw in surprise at her words. "Do you think I'd be accepted into your Clan? housep- I mean.." She paused, trying to remember what Bunnypaw had said before when she had attacked Jadeyn. "A kittypet like me, wouldn't I be just another mouth to feed? I probably wouldn't even make it through the first night, let alone, the rest of my life," she meowed. Her mossy green gaze shifted from Bunnypaw to Oakpaw. Why was he staring at her? she couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable. Jadeyn assumed they all thought that she was nothing but a kittypet dreamer who would never accomplish anything. Jadeyn flicked her tail and glanced back at Bunnypaw to hear what she had to say.

"R-Really?" Jadeyn meowed, surprised and excited at the same time. "Oh," she looked down at the neon yellow collar around her neck. "I'll have to get rid of this, won't I?" Her mossy green eyes were narrowed only a bit. If she had to lose the collar to look like a wildcat, then she'd gladly do it.

Jadeyn nodded and sat down, looking in the same spot that Oakpaw was sitting in earlier but noticed that he was gone. She let her gaze drift around until she spotted Oakpaw padding away from them. "Hey, who's he?" She asked Bunnypaw.

Jadeyn watched Oakpaw with calm green eyes. But as she heard the words of Leopardtooth, she spun around to face the she-cat. She knew when she said: 'it' Leopardtooth really meant she'd have to kill her. "Just because I'm an outsider doesn't mean you can just kill me," she spat. "I mean, I may be a house pet, unlike all of you, but I have the same warm blood, I can feel the same pain and love, like Greenleaf said, it's the heart that makes a warrior!" The she-cats fur stood on end as her lips drew back from her sharp white teeth in a snarl. Without realizing it, she had unsheathed her thorn-sharp claws in anger at Leopardtooth's words. Who did this she-cat think she was? being a kittypet or not, she wasn't going to take anything from anyone, even a massive she-cat with a temper. "Do you have anything against kittypets? I mean, what's so bad about kittypets? We're just like you, living, breathing cats."

Jadeyn struggled underneath Leopardtooth. "You heard me!" She spat. With claws still unsheathed, she swiped upward with a forepaw, aiming to strike a blow to Leopardtooth's cheek. If she got the chance, she'd do what she did to Bunnypaw in the hopes of getting the she-cat off of her. Even though Leopardtooth was stronger, Jadeyn knew what she had to do.

Jadeyn yowled as Leopardtooth struck her cheek. She then hissed, "Then teach me your ways! How am I suppose to know about them, when I've never set a pawstep in the forest before! If you don't give me a chance, then how do you know I won't make it? I might just surprise you," while she was talking she sheathed her claws and let herself go limp beneath Leopardtooth so she wasn't tense. She had a plan to get this cat off of her but had to wait for the right moment.

Jadeyn growled and suddenly, she struck upward with all of her paws toward Leopardtooth's belly with all of the strength she could muster, aiming to hopefully get the cat off her.
