"great! let's go!" sparkpelt meowed to starclimber and lead the way out of camp. she walked next to starclimber through the forest, her dark ginger tabby coat gleaming in the sun. she soon spotted a mouse near a log, looking for food. she saw another one not too far away. " ill take this one, you take that one." she meowed and stalked forward.

Sugarpaw went hunting, and returned with an abundance of prey. She carried a vole, a mouse, a rabbit, and a thrush. She felt good today, and was very happy. "I'll just go hunting again," she mewed, then padded out of camp. She was padding along, when she ran right in to Sparkpelt. "Ahhhh!" she screamed, like a little kitten. "I thought you were from Shadowclan or something!" she said, still shaken with shock.

Smoothstep gathered many herbs like goldenrod, barley, poppy seeds, dock, juniper berries, burdock root, chervil roots, feverfew, stinging nettle, borage, and even a few leaves from a catmint bush! They can cure greencough and whitecough! I cant believe I found so many herbs! And [i]catmint! this is great![/i] She thought, walking back to camp. All of the herbs were in her rabbit-skin bag, which she was holding in her mouth. This thing's heavy! she thought, struggling to keep her head up. Every few steps, she had to put the bag down and rest for a moment.

Starclimber hesitated before attempting to slowly stalk his prey. He kept his tail and haunches down before taking slowl slithering steps like he used to do. But when he leaped, his eye failed him, making him aim too far to the left, and the prey scampered away while Starclimber hit his head against a tree trunk.

the mouse scurried away and sparkpelt got up. " its alright!" she meowed. she saw starclimber and ran up to him. " are you alright?" she meowed, nudging him.

She finally managed to get into her den. Smoothstep put the rabbit-skin bag down and began to empty the contents into her private herb storage.
