  • The warriors will die, and the world will follow.
    Without magic it is not possible for the world to survive.
    Come, Join us..
    We need your help young warrior
    You and your dragon are needed...

    The race against the world has begun,
    We need to find them in the deep - far below the sea.
    Their searching has made them lost to us,
    And for that we may have to pay the ultamate price.

    The sound of an alarm awoke him with a start, his green eyes blinking slowly. Letting out a long yawn, he stretched, then relaxing feeling his body sink into the white sheets. Giving another yawn he stood up and began to get ready, his eyes foggy with sleep.

    In a few hours he was on his way to school, walking down the street, his faded jeans and white tee perfect for the summer heat. Having to go to summer school was a hassel, but it was better than failing highschool because he had failed grade nine english. Water splashed benieth his white sneakers, and it pulled him out of his thoughts. He saw a red haired boy running up to him. "Hey! Jeremy! 'Sup bro?" He called, as the boy came closer a worried look crossed his face, and he whispered, "Had that dream again?"

    Jeremy nodded, "Yeah. Its the same as last time. There is this deep cavern, and I look around, but everything is in sepia- you know that yellow grey and white sort of setting on a camera? Then I look down in a pool of water, and looking back at me is this dark blue face, with yellow eyes and hudge horns. It was a dragon... I was a dragon. Can that get any weirder?" He said looking to his friend.

  • "No, wait!" Kat yelled, flailing her arms and sitting up abruptly. She winced, rubbing her head, and blearily looked around her room. Groaning, she pushed the covers away from her face and looked at the alarm cloak. Nine in the morning? she thought, rolling onto her back and looking at the ceiling of her bedroom. I should still be asleep!

    "What a weird dream," she mused aloud as she slowly staggered out of her bed and towards her dresser. Kat pulled out a pair of jeans, followed by a light yellow tee shirt and some ankle socks. She put her assorted clothing pieces on before slowly walking to the door. "Dragons. Again." she muttered, kicking the door shut behind her out of habit. "Maybe it means something..?" Kat paused, thinking about her dream. "Nah. It's probably just my overactive imagination at work again."

  • Korra woke with a start, her eyes flew open and she let out a yell. "Wah!"
    Her cat, Ikki, let out a meow of discontent as she was shoved aside and knocked off the bed.
    Korra sat up, panting in her bed with her blanket half on the floor and half on her lap.
    She shook her head and rubbed her temple.
    "It's that weird dream again... Dragons and fire... and the sea..." she muttered under her breath, "Sorry Ikki." she said turning to stroke her now annoyed cat.
    The siamese cat lashed out with sharp claws but just missed Korra's hand.
    "Fine! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" she said.
    Ikki left the room angrily as Korra got out of bed and got dressed. She ate some cereal, on her own and filled one of Ikki's bowls with dry foods and the other with water.
    Korra's parents were working abroad again on an archaeologic dig and had left their daughter home alone for the summer. This happened just about every year since Korra could remember, but Korra being the independent person that she is didn't mind in the slightest.

    She shook her head of the dream that kept bothering her as she munched on the cereal.
    "Maybe some fresh air will make things clearer." she said to herself walking to the door.

    She slipped on some boots, grabbed a light weight jacket and rushed out into the forest by her house. Korra had been going out into the woods everyday since she had discovered a strange and magical power, that was completely not possible from Korra's perspective, but that had come to her in a dream.
    She called it 'bending' the elements and went training every morning to try and improve her skills.
    She reached the clearing and hung her jacket up on a low branch.

    Korra started off with fire, making a rapid sweeping movement with her right arm and letting out a loud 'HA!', a large ball of fire appeared in the air and slammed into a nearby tree which broke it in half. She repeated this, only this time on a large boulder.

    Next off, earth. This time she moved both her hands in an upward movement, like as if she was lifting something, and a solid block of earth rose up in a kind of wall. She jumped up into the air and kicked out simultaneously with each of her legs until she landed again. Giant boulders flew up into the air and landed with an extremely loud crash, causing nearby birds to call out in alarm and fly away.

    Air was not her favourite but she still loved it. Korra sat on the ground, cross-legged, and closed her eyes. She brought her two hands together as if she was praying, let out a long calming breath and breathed in deeply. Soon enough, a rotating ball of air formed underneath her and she was floating in midair about two or three meters off the ground. She opened her eyes and cheered, thrusting out her left fist.
    "I did it!"
    As soon as she lost her concentration, Korra plummeted to the ground, landing on her back. She let out a cry of pain and started to rub the pain away.
    "I guess I know how Ikki feels now." she chuckled, "I think I need to work a bit more on that one."

    Last was her favourite of the elements and by far the one she could control the best, water.
    Twisting and moving her arms around in smooth, sweeping motions, Korra controlled a large floating ball of water through the air. Sometimes she thrust both her arms out in a quick movement, creating massive force and breaking branches off of trees.

    Korra continued controlling water, for some reason this element calmed her and made her feel safe. She let her mind go blank and let herself flow with the water.

  • Usiku woke up, noticing his trainer: Christopher by a fire. The black dragon snorted and watched him. He was roasting- what was it.. yes, a hotdog. Christopher just sat, enjoying the stars. "Usiku, isn't this wonderful? We have no problems!"
    He laughed and lied on the ground, eating the hotdog. "Sometimes, I wish you were a human. Then you could speak to me."
    Usiku looked at Chris.

  • Jeremy watched the ground pass beneath his feet, not really paying attention to what his friend was saying.

    "Jeremy! Earth to Jeremy! Did you even hear what I just said?" He jumped as a hand waved in front of him, his green eyes blinking in surprise as he was pulled into reality. "What?" He asked frowning. "I said... Do you think it was a sign? You know, like having some greater meaning? Like do you think that your ancestors are some sort of dragon tamers who forgot to tell you, or something?!" Jeremy looked at him, as if he was nuts, "Are you kidding me Ted? Seriously. Dragon Tamers." He shook his head and sped up his pace, "Come on, we will be late for class." Ted followed along, giving a huff, clearly not done with the subject.

    At lunch they sat around a picnic table, talking about various things, but Jeremy wouldn't allow the subject of dragons, or warriors or fairies come into the conversation. "Oooh! Jeremy and Sara sitting in a tree K-I-S Mrugh!Hemyf!!" Ted was cut short as a hand was shoved in front of his face. "Don't even say that! God Ted, you cant even shut your mouth for one second!" Ted looked hurt, his hazel eyes falling to the ground, "Hey sorry for trying to lighten the mood. You've been in a terrible mood all day!" He grumbled, and Ted instantly felt bad. "I'm sorry man, I've just been out off it all day." He sighed and got up, lunch was defiantly over.

    Finally school ended, and he was almost out when he saw Sara, making a beeline for him. Oh no. Oh God, please no! He thought picking up the pace. He was fortunate enough that she turned and made her way to her friend Jessica, instead of coming for her. Thank God.

    Finally out of school, he decided to take a walk along the forest, feeling better as the cool leaves blocked the hot sun. He began to whistle a tune, his head finally clear from the drama that summer school always seemed to create. Then he fell to the ground, a splitting migraine blooming behind his eyes, causing him to cry out in pain. "Ahhhrg!" His voice echoed through the trees, causing a flock of birds to take flight, and leaving the forest eerily silent. He hoped nobody had heard it, but also he wished they had, as the pain had left him lying on the ground holding his head, the world spinning around him.

    >>--------------->

    A loud roar came echoing back on himself, his yellow eyes blinking in frustration. He let out another roar, his voice cracking from overuse. Where are you Jeremy? Please hurry, we need to begin our journey! He thought, hoping that his warrior could hear him. Letting out a roar he thought, JEREMY!! As he did so though, he silently cursed himself, that would be enough thought yelling to make an elephant pass out! He growled, and slowly pulled himself to the water, dipping his head down and taking a drink of the cool fresh water. Interestingly enough, there was fresh water in this cave which was miles underground. With all the scents of the polluted world confusing him, the dragon had come down here to get some peace, as some of the old world scents still lingered here. But the poor dragon didn't realize that once he was in the cave, there would be no way out! So now here he was, trapped miles under the sea, without food, and alone... all alone.

  • From within the cave, a soft roar could be heard behind the stranded dragon. "What are you trying to do? Burst my ears!?" Vincent was obviously somewhat joking in his dragonspeech, but he did mean a bit of what he said. Why was he so loud!? Vincent began approaching the dragon, his tail slowly swaying across the ground as smoke billowed from his nostrils, his mouth forming a grin.

  • "Mornin mom," Kat nodded to her mother as she plopped herself into a chair at the table. She looked expectantly at her mother for a minute before sighing. "I'm going to have to make myself breakfast, aren't I?" Slowly, she pushed her chair out and stood.

    The options for breakfast were along the lines of cereal, toast, and/or eggs. Kat pulled out the toaster and shoved two pieces of bread into it. As she waited for the toast, she rubbed her eyes and thought about her dream. There had been a grayish dragon sitting on a single rock surrounded by water. It had turned its head to look at her, and Kat found herself staring into brilliant blue eyes. They seemed to grow larger, merging with everything else. The dragon breathed out a wisp of smoke, and Kat felt like the dragon was somehow a part of her. She reached out for the dragon, but before she could touch the sparkling scales, the smell of burning toast jerked her from her daydream.

    Her toast was significantly charred around the edges, but luckily the middle had survived the lapse of attention. Kat grabbed it quickly, blowing on it to try and cool it down. She slapped it down on a plate and coated it with jelly. While she ate, her mind kept wandering back to the dragon sitting alone in the middle of the ocean. It seemed to be calling to her, trying to tell her something...

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Azuria sailed aimlessly over the seemingly endless expanse of water. She turned slightly, catching the wind in her large wings, and headed back towards land. Kat. she thought, and the name echoed around her mind. Katherine? Kat? I must find her. We must join to become one again. The gray dragon landed heavily on the beach, not paying attention, and her head spun. The only scent out over the water had been salt, but now there were so many new scents that she couldn't ascertain. Azuria could only make out one clear thought: that she must find her warrior.
  • Bay turned his head, his blue scales ruffled and the frill along his neck frilling up, showing his unrest. "Being stuck down here may be alright for some dragons, but I just want to get out!" He growled, hitting a boulder and sending it crashing against the cave wall. He watched as it crumbled to the ground, bits of dust now floating around the cave. He gave a small growl, and then sat down. "Sorry. Ive been stuck down here for too long." He shook his head, his amber eyes falling to the ground, his shoulders slumping as he let out a small ring of smoke.
  • Ooc:Did you make Vincent's rider yet? The sign up thread is glitching up for me for some reason...
    Ic:Vincent watched, his eyes slightly widening as the dragon hit the wall. What was up with that dragon..? He must be in alot of pain... "Being stuck isn't always a bad thing, well..." Vincent tried to cheer up the dragon, but there was something missing from Vincent that he couldn't quite put his finger on... "Okay, it may be bad being stuck down here.." Vincent quietly roared, glaring at the wall of stone that had sealed them in this forsaken place..
  • Azuria folded her wings and walked towards the small cave she'd been using as a shelter for a few days. As she entered it, a weird sound echoed up to her from the back of the cave. She strained to see anything but couldn't, except for a crack too small for a dragon her size to fit through. After looking around a few times, she decided there was nothing else in the cave with her. But as she was still curious, she put her head down next to the crack and called, "Hello?" She waited a moment, hearing her small roar echo down through a tunnel system.
  • Korra was pulled out of her bending when she heard a loud scream coming from nearby.
    "What was that?" she asked herself out loud.
    She grabbed her jacket and ran through the trees in the direction of the voice. As she ran, Korra noticed birds fly up into the air, crying chirps of alarm. She reached the edge of the forest and found a boy on the ground, obviously in pain, holding his head as if he was having a migraine.
    She rushed over to him and turned him over so that she could see his face. She blushed when she thought that he was quite cute.
    Shaking her head of the thought, Korra took off her jacket and folded it up to place under his head.
    "Excuse me," she said in a soft voice, "Are you alright?"
    Oh my god, I hope he is... she thought.
    ———
    Naga soared over the ocean, along the coastline and over the beaches.
    "Korra where are you? We are destined to become one." she said to herself.
    As she flew across the sky, Naga spoted another dragon. She drifted down and landed with a thump on the sand and walked over to her.
    "Hello?" she roared, "Are you looking for your rider?"
  • OOC: Yes! I just put it up! :D
    Bay stared at the ground, and he could tell that the other dragon was watching him. Lifting his head, he stared into the other dragon's eyes, "I have to get to Jeremy. I have to find him." He said, a single tear falling from his eye. "The dragon and the warrior must become one, to save the world and then some." He recited, his amber eyes going foggy as he remembered the prophecy which was etched on the wall of his hatching place, written in the dying claw-writing of a dragon. His eyes came back into focus, "Wait- did you hear that?!" he said turning towards the area which had caved in on the two dragons.
    >>---------------->
    Echos crashed along Jeremy's head, sounding somewhat like waves. The sound intencified, until the single word came into his head, a thought but not his own. Bay... It bounced around his head, and the feeling that he was incomplete made him moan, "Bay." He groaned, not realizing it was out loud.
    Then the words of another reached him, and the sound made him wince. He opened up his green eyes, looking up into a pair of blue ones. "Who.. Who are you?" He asked, blinking again as his eyes came into focus. He saw a pretty girl, hovering over him concern in her eyes. He blinked again, confusion sweeping over him. The pain was lesseing, but he still could feel an echo of it, like he was remembering the sudden pain in his head. His hand moved up and rubbed his temple, the pressure erasing the last of the pain.
    OOC: Sorry silver! I didn;t see your post, until I had posted, so here is Jeremy's reply! :)
  • "Hey, we need help down here!" Vincent roared, estatic that a fellow dragon had finally come to save them. Vincent glanced towards Bay, roaring again. "Now you won't have to beat yourself." Vincent joked around with a smirk, then stared at the crack where the voice had echoed from. He could swear that he heard another dragon speaking about riders... What were those? Was it the human that he would always talk to when she was sleeping?
  • "There are other creatures down there!" Azuria gasped, turning to face Naga. "I think they're dragons!" she clawed at the gap, trying to widen it. A few rocks crumbled away, but other than that, nothing else happened. Azuria didn't give up, but her clawing grew slower. "Can you widen it from the other side?" she called to the other dragons, pausing her attempts for a moment.
  • "We can try!" He said, just able to make out what the other dragon was saying. "Good thing I don't have to beat myself up again, I wasn't even doing it to the right wall!" He mirrored the other dragon's smile, and then he began to dig at the wall, huffing because the rocks weren't moving very much. Getting an idea, he put two legs on rock, and pushed down with all his weight, using his wing to balance himself, so he didn't fall. "Come on! We almost have it!" He said, his amber eyes screwed up with the effort of moving the rock. Finally something gave way, and a large boulder fell. He sighed, looking up at the still large pile of rock in front of them. "Well that's one down, a whole bunch more to go." He said, grinning at Vincent, as his mood improved with the prospect of escape.
  • "Here, I'll help." Vincent offered as he walked on all fours to the wall of rock. Vincent blinked at the many chunks of stone, wondering how long this would take.. Vincent managed to mimic Bay's tenchnique, having a bit of trouble of moving one of the boulders. "A little help?" Vincent asked, glancing to Bay.
  • "Watch it!" Azuria coughed, blinking to keep the dust out of her eyes. She managed to clear more rubble blocking the path from her side and began to push small boulders out of the way. Dust filled the air but she periodically cleared it away with her wings. "Almost there," she muttered, tunneling her way past a few huge boulders. When she finally stopped to catch her breath, a huge pile of boulders was looming over her. "Oh." she said simply, sitting down and gaping at it. "That's a lot of rocks."
  • Vincent finally knocked one of the boulders down after pressing down on the boulder with all his strength. There was just soo many boulders... Vincent cleared the dust with one of his wings in annoyance. Were they going to get anywhere by doing this...? He needed to go see his rider, Zena!
  • Azuria got back to her feet and began to push boulders. She got onto her hind feet and began to widen the gaps between them, making them loose. A few stones tumbled towards her as she clawed at the gaps, but she dodged them. "Keep trying! I'm loosening some of them!" she roared, hoping the other dragons would hear her. She kept adjusting the stones, gradually making them wobble slightly. Azuria took a step back out of caution, worried the huge tower would collapse. She sighed in relief and disappointment as it didn't.
  • Vincent roared in response to Azuria. "Do you see all the boulders? It's going to take centurys!" Vincent complained as he paced back and forth on the stone floor. He wanted to speak to the human girl again, but would she even hear him..? Vincent glared at the stones blocking the exit. His glare was almost as if he was saying it was the rock's fault he was trapped in here... Vincent widened his mouth, a spark forming inside, then a large bolt zapping a boulder, blowing it to pieces. Vincent's eyes widened as he got an idea!
