Garnetpaw thought about Lynxpaw and wonder where she was."Ye I can promise to look after her and help her be protected." said Garnetpaw with seriousness in his eyes. "I don't know if you know this but, Your sister and I have a crush on each other." whispered Garnetpaw.

"Really?" Lionpaw was surprised. Sure, Garnetpaw and Lynxpaw had seemed close, but he hadn't known they were that close. He was happy for his sister, but at the same time he felt another emotion that he couldn't explain. It was kind of bitter and vile, so he tried to ignore it. "Well I'm happy for you two!"

Garnetpaw stood up straight and humbled himself with joy while laughing. "Isn't it great but I wanted to tell you because to see if you approve of us or not." said Garnetpaw. "Thank you so much by the way."

"You're welcome." Lionpaw replied, purring. But, as he did so, the strange, bile feeling he felt continued to creep up and down his pelt.

That's when he realized it might be because he was a medicine cat and he knew that he could never find love like Lynxpaw had. It was because he was jealous.
