  • Ai was soon facing kokoro. The demons red eyes burned into hers. "Pay up..." It hissed, sending a shiver down her spine. "You leave takara alone....and I'll never leave the red string realm..." She said regretfully. The heart demon smiled. "Good...you've been skipping out on your job..." The demon hissed.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]Takara didn't feel like himself, he slept since morning and now it was in the evening that he ate nothing. "Takara eat something." His mom said before stabbing great big slices of dukbokgi. "It's not everyday that we can eat something grand as this." She added jokingly before noticing Takara's expression - stilled her tongue. "Mom...is it strange to love someone your...not suppose to?" It was a question that made his mom raise an eyebrow. "You mean you have a girlfriend and you didn't tell me!" Takara rolled his eyes as his mom gushed. "See what did I tell you! Piercings only make you ugly which is why you even got a girlfriend." Takara clenched his fists before narrowing his eyes at his dukbokgi. "Whatever." He then went back to his room to draw strange beings from the dream world before sleeping to see Ai again.

  • Ai sat on the tangled mess of red string once again. A few red strings were wrapped around her wrists so she wouldn't leave the string realm. Ai sighed as she tied two strings together for another desperate girl. Kokoro was going to extremes to make sure Ai never left her realm again.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]Takara made his way to Ai sitting cross legged in front of her. "So...how are-" It seemed rather a question that a parent would ask and decided to ask a different question."Whats up?"

  • Ai sighed miserably. She held up her wrists to show the red string that bound her in place. "Could be better...." Ai smiled weakly.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]"What happened?" Demanded Takara as he stared at Ai worriedly.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]"Deal? What deal?" Takara felt bile rising in his throat. This couldn't be happening and especially since things were just starting to get better.

  • Ai held back a sob. "I made a deal with kokoro....he said if I never tied my string, he would let me roam around the realm freely..." Ai now had a few tears running down her cheeks.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]Takara narrowed his eyes, "Whose this Kokoro any how?" Takara was getting a feeling that it was probably the dark dream he had about a demonic aura and a voice telling him to stay away. Things were now freaking him out to the point where he felt that it was his fault for everything that he had done.

  • "My master..." She said miserably. Ai looked at her door as a red mist appeared. It transformed into a young man with pure white hair and blood red eyes. "Ai...looking lovely as usual...and who are you?" Kokoro growled the last part and glared at takara.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]Takara felt threatened and felt like retreating, but he intended to stay. "No, the question is why I'm here." He replied coolly before daring Kokoro to respond. Feeling rather insecure he tried to get closer to Ai - reminding him what he might lose.

  • Kokoro frowned and walked over to where Ai was and put his arm around her. "You see boy, Ai is my little puppet and like she said...I am her master. Isn't that right my lovely?" Kokoro said grinning. Ai nodded sadly and looked at takara as if pleading for help.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]Takara felt like he was being choked, no wonder Ai couldn't leave the realms. He steadied his feet before finally asking, "What...do you want?"

  • "What I've always wanted." Kokoro purred and stroked Ai's hair, who was cringing in fear. "I want Ai to stay in the realm with me...forever." He lost his grin and turned to takara. "Without your interference." Ai looked like she was in pain from everything kokoro had just said.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]"It doesn't matter because-" Takara lifted his finger up that was connected to Ai's, "We're connected forever." It didn't seem like much, but he truly felt that no matter what happens he will always be with her till they're disconnected. It only happens when Ai cuts the string, but Takara knows she wouldn't do such a thing.

  • Kokoro frowned and looked at Ai. "You naughty girl. You've tied your string... We all know the penalty for that now don't we?" Ai looked at him with terrified eyes as he picked her up and slammed her against the wall. Ai screamed painfully when she hit.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]Takara immediately walked over to Kokoro knowing fully well what he was doing, he tried to push Kokoro away from Ai. The anger that bubbled beneath the surface was incoherent and left a sour taste in his mouth at the thought of Kokoro touching Ai again.

  • Kokoro grinned. "Just remember...this all happened because of you." He said bitterly. Ai was curled on the floor shaking as kokoro walked over and picked her up, kissing her cheek before disappearing in red mist.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=7pt]Takara clenched his fist, what else could he have done? A mere mortal in the midst of the irregular incidents and events that were happening to him seemed to be quite a drastic turn. He then faced Ai - grabbing her and steadying her feet as he helped her up. "I don't know what to do." It must have sounded so hollow to have caused him to feel tears prickling his eyes. What could he do? He felt useless, just a human who could do no more than live its life.
