  • Frostclaw didn't hear her, the second the river came into view, he sprang, his powerful legs taking him the distance, he dove in neatly, and submerged, covered competely.

  • Honeysong half-tripped-half-dove into the water after him, her own strong legs letting her keep up, and she made her way to the other bank, shaking herself off once she made it out. "Watch for his head! He's still a cat that needs air!" She mewed practically, wanting to talk to him. She'd never met a cat who could swim better than her.

  • Frostclaw came up for air further down the bank, expertly only letting his muzzle show before going back under. Energy coursing threw his body due to the cold water soaking his pelt.

  • Frostclaw swam underwater, pushing his limits before he needed to come up for air again. He knew this was unhealthy for his body, so he took his chances on land, appearing down stream much further than he last appeared. He came up and ran up a tree and laid down and rested. If they found him, he was done running, and unsheathed his claws incase it came down to a fight.

  • Honey motioned for blaze to come join her, then found the tree a few minutes later and sat beneath it, frowning. "We only want to talk! Why were you hiding? My name is Honeysong!" She said, sounding fairly friendly and very curious.

  • Frostclaw ignored the she cat in hopes that she might go away.

  • Honey sighed, her ears flattening in disappointment. "Well... if you want to come back and talk that's okay!" she mewed, heading back to blaze.

  • Frostclaw sighed in relief, happy to avoid a conflict. Then he padded down the tree and walked off in the direction he came, back towards the river, in no particular way to stay hidden.

  • Frostclaw padded into the river, and swam upstream just as easily as he did going downstream, until he came to the same spot that he dove into in the beggining. Then he shook out his pelt, and padded over to the clearing the other cats were in a while ago before they chased him. He sniffed the air to see if they were there, and they weren't. He padded to the center of the clearing and laid down.

  • Honeysong climbed from the water, purring at Blaze as she shook the bulk of the riverwater from her pelt and headed back to her home clearing Beneath her tree.

  • Frostclaw, exhausted from all of the running and swimming, fell asleep, unaware of the cats coming.

  • Honey purred back, giving a bit of a shrug. "I was raised in both. I don't even remember learning how to swim . It's as natural as climbing trees for me." She meowed, thinking. "It definitely makes it easier to catch fish."
