When his gaze was caught, Blackpaw turned away suddenly. This, however made him face Thornpaw, who's 'Hello!' caused him to jump.
"Oh, er...uhm...Hi. I'm Blackpaw." he said, glancing back at his long-legged mentor, who simply shook his black pelt. Blackpaw blinked his green eyes at Thornpaw. -
"Names Thornpaw." Thornpaw said, smirking a little at the apprentices jumpiness.

Shadepaw plodded along slowly behind her father, and looked ahead. He had already sat down. The pretty silver she-cat suppressed a growl at his lazyness. It's funny that the mouse-brain of a tom is my father... Shadepaw gazed around, looking for some other apprentinces to talk to.

Tigernose sat down, waiting for some other Thunderclaners to talk to him. Without his parets, h was naturally shy.

Blackpaw's gaze drifted slightly and fell on Shadepaw. He tried to turn away quickly enough so she wouldn't notice he'd been staring, but knew he'd been too slow.

Winterbreeze sighed with pain. She had seen so many cats with mates...

Thornpaw put a paw on Blackpaws tail, "What clan are you from anyway?"

"Hmm? Oh, er, ThunderClan." Blackpaw meowed distractedly, still trying to stare at Shadepaw unnoticed.

Shadepaw's head whipped around as she felt another cat's gaze on her pelt. For a second, she saw another apprentice looking at her, but he quickly turned his head away. The Sunclan she-cat cocked her ears slightly.

Blackpaw ducked his head as Shadepaw turned towards him. He did his best to appear invisible, silently praying to StarClan that she wouldn't go over there. "Y-yeah." she murmured in answer to Thornpaw's question.
