A lone figure of an apprentice sat at the edge of the snowy SnowClan clearing alone, his dark cinnamon-colored fur standing out very distinctly from the pure white, powdery snow-covered ground. Ugh. Velveteenpaw simply HATED residing in SnowClan. He hated the snow and the fact that anybody could see him from almost a whole MILE away, with his cinnamon-colored pelt and bright amber eyes, the cold stone mountains, the chilly winds. Simply everything. Why did his mother EVER bring him here? With a sigh, the apprentice decided he wanted to go inside and rest, so he slowly padded into the apprentices' den, curling up in his plush, mossy nest in the far corner of the den. With a twitch of his whiskers, he was fast asleep, sides steadily rising and falling as he snored quietly and soundly.

An apprentice walked into the Apprentice Den, seeing Velveteenpaw and smiling. Felidaepaw was
close to saying, "Hello!" but noticed the dark, cinnamon colored cat asleep and slowly padded over
to her own nest; laying down and setting her head on her paws, her tail landing softly on her nose. -
Playkit wasn't an apprentice, not even close. She was promoted to Medicine Cat Apprentice, but hadn't taken an apprentice name yet. She was only four moons at the moment. So why was she in the Apprentice's Den? Because she was playing. Yes, she was playing.
Just because she was a Medicine Cat Apprentice didn't mean she would have to be all mature and "grown up" right? Playkit tumbled into the Apprentice's Den, a feminine grunt sounding as she rolled into a wall. "Ow," complained Playkit, sitting up, slowly rubbing her head. What did Auntie Peri say was good for headaches?
Mallow? No, no, no. That was for bellyaches. She wasn't sure if they had ever covered head-aches yet. Groaning Playkit shakily got to her paws, pacing around the den to clear her head. The silver-blue tabby wasn't aware of the strange looks she got from older cats.
-
Velveteenpaw grumbled a bit, before being awaken by a thud! Looking up, he saw Playkit rubbing her head, as if it was hurting. "Playkit, what are you doing?" Velveteenpaw meowed, annoyance tinging his voice. Seeing Felidaepaw, he suppressed a small smile and a nod of greetings to the fellow apprentice, before turning to glare at Playkit.
-
"What does it look like?" Playkit snapped back, none she wasn't actually angry or annoyed. "I hit my head. It hurted!" The Medicine Cat Apprentice slowly ceased her rubbing and eventually removed her paw from her head. It had actually cleared pretty quickly.

Felidaepaw jumped at the small thud. She looked over at Playkit laughed a little.
"Well are you okaynow?" she questioned grinning.

"I guess so," mewed Playkit slowly, flashing a small smile at Felidaepaw. To Velveteenpaw however, she simply glared back, even going as far as to childlishly stick her tongue out at the older cat.

"Aw, c'mon, Playkit!" Felidaepaw grinned. "Velveteenpaw didn't mean any harm." The brown apprentice turned towards Velveteenpaw; giving a quick wink and smiled. "Right?"
