  • Candy smiled, kissing his cheek. "I can see." she said in a faint whisper, her lips nearly touching his ear, a bit in a seductive way.

  • "This time I do." Candy said with a small smile, putting her hand down. She looked over at him, giving him a small kiss on the cheek, before turning back around and picking herself up. "I love you." Candy said, giving him her bright eyed glance, walking to his door.

  • Candy continued walking till she spotted the dark outline of her house. As she entered, a warm smell flooded her nose, a smell of cooked food. Her dad was in the kitchen shuffling around to cook. Candy walked slowly over to him, and he turned around with red eyes. "Candy, I'm so sorry.. I was thinking of your mother.." he said with a heavy lump in his throat. Candy ran over to him, hugging him tightly with tears streaming down her face. She let go, seeing he cooked something already burnt, she smiled softly. Without them sharing another word, they hugged in peace, then leaving each other. Candy went upstairs, sitting on the side of her bed, pulling out the numbers for Max's phone.
