  • They call me the stupid one. The one to stay away from the popular boy. They one to stick to riding dirt bikes and blowing things up, and sure I do that stuff but I want the pretty girl life sometimes too...

And the truth is I'm the girl that they're afraid of. I intimidate them...

Kris sat at home her heart burning. She had just gotten news of her father dying in war. WHy had it happened to her? Of all the people? Her eyes were swollen from tears. But before we get into the details you need to know Kris...
Kris Burns, the girl that the popular girls hate because she gets more time with the jocks than anyone else. She's on the school's football team and plays guitar. For fun she shoot her bow and wrestles with her dog. Kris is good natured and lovable, but men watch out you break her heart, she breaks you.
Kris treis her hardest to stear clear of the popular girls, it's hard thouhg because her best friends are jocks. Although she does have one friend who stands above all others. Harry Styles. The cheeky, crazy, fun guy everybody loves. He's got the pretty voice, pretty well known around the school, but no two people know each other better than Kris and Harry. He even calls her Burns the name she'd been begging for ever since she was little.
Now though Kris is sitting at home hoping that Harry doesn't see her cry. If he does she'll be ruined. All the time she's known him Kris has never creid around him, she's always been strong... Then she heard her front door open and the soft word, "Burns?" carried throughout the house and Kris knew Harry was there.

  • "Hey, Burns. What's up." he said gently, feeling the tension in the air. "What's wrong?"

  • (atleast three good sentences plz)

She stiffled back a cry and looked away the tears running down her cheeks like fire. Kris treid to catch her breath and looked up at Harry, his curls and cheeky smile was everything to her...She handed him the letter saying the news, "Mom locked herself in her rrom and wont come out to talk to me. It's like she blames me for his death. He deid in war. How's it my fault?!" Kris was angry and sad all at the same time. It scared her.

  • Harry read the note, sucking in the reality that was happening to her. He handed her the note back, feeling sympathy for her. "I'm so sorry Burns. Thats terrible news. Come here." he said, holding out his arms to hug her.
-i use tablet, so I don't really use many words. I guess I could make longer and better sentences.-

  • (Thanks it honestly means alot)

She held him tightly and treid to force the tears away. She was hurting and she just wanted to feel better. Kris closed her eyes and said, "Let's go to the cotton feilds. They're always fun." SHe had a slight British accent from living here her whole life but both of her parents were from america so it floated of her tongue differently.

  • He pushed her hair out of her face before saying, "Are we driving or walking?" Kris always changed her mind about it. He waited for her answer patiently. Maybe we're walking this time. he thought.

  • Burn's lips parted just enough so you could tall she was thinking, along with raiing only her left eyebrow. She wasn't very easy to read, but she knew HArry could read her just fine. "Walk, definitally. It'll help me get this steam off my back." Holding out a hand she waited for Harry to help her up.

  • He smiled and grabbed her hand, helping her up. He let her lead the way there, knowing she was a natural-born leader type of girl. As they walked on, he could just make out the cotton field. "Hey, Burns! There it is. I'll race you!" Harry said, remembering all their other races here.

  • Kris smirked and laughed, "And I'll beat you!" She took off sprinting. Red dust forming clouds as it trailed behind them. They were seniors adn yet in so many ways they acted like 2nd graders. Kris remrbered the little short cut and took it making a quick break and soon arriving at the feilds.
