  • "Calmly? Since when were you calm?" Harry chuckled softly. He trusted Louis enough to believe him but Harry had a feeling something would go wrong. He pushed the feeling away and lay on his side. "Are we there yet?" Harry was a little impatient.

  • "Almost," he murmured, chuckling softly. About twenty minutes later, the city skyline could be visible. The tour bus drove right through the center, screeching to a halt at a large hotel. They ushered the boys onto the top floor, and tossed them two keys. "Each of you need to share a room," the doorman informed. "There will be one room of three, of course, but the other two stay separate."

  • Harry glanced at Louis, eyebrow raised and a small smile on his face. He ran a hand through his curly hair, holding the key. Harry hoped Louis was thinking about them sharing a room too.

  • Louis blushed lightly, then spoke up to the other boys. "I don't mind staying with Harry," he chimed in. "We're fine like that!" The other band members eyed them over skeptically, then nodded slowly and filed into their own room. Gently taking the key from Harry, Louis unlocked the door ad swung it open, then lunged onto the freshly made hotel bed. It was something he always did.

  • Harry laughed and followed Louis inside, looking out the window. "Wow, we're so high up!" He breathed, looking at the tall buildings with awe. Harry wasn't afraid of heights and he actually enjoyed them...until he looked down. Harry looked down at the long drop, gulped then sat on the bed next to Louis.

  • Harry smiled happily, a little embarrassed that Louis found out he was a very tiny bit scared of heights but he felt better in Louis' arms. "I'm safe with you, Louis." Harry blurted out then blushed. He often blurted things out whenever he was with Louis, probably from nervousness.

  • "Indeed you are," he whispered, chuckling softly. He lay down with Harry still in his arms and gazed out the window, zoning out. He occasionally hugged Harry, sometimes pecking him on the cheek or forehead and grinning.

  • "What are you thinking about?" Harry couldn't help but be curious. He smiled nervously, hoping he wasn't invading Louis' space. Right now, Harry's mind was still on the concert, which was today in the late night and he wondered what Louis was thinking about.

  • Louis bit his lip and grinned. "Well, at first I was thinking about you, then I was thinking about the concert, then you again," he murmured, running a hand through Harry's curls. "What were you thinking about?"

  • Harry hesitated, for he didn't want to tell Louis he was still worried about the concert. "I was thinking about...nothing." The lie was weak but Harry couldn't think of a better one in time. But the memory of slipping on the concert in front of millions of fans sort of scarred him. Harry pushed the thought away, focusing on other things.

  • Louis tilted his head and gently lifted Harry's chin up with his finger. "Are you sure? You seem flustered," he murmured, his brow furrowing. "Are you sure there isn't anything I could do to help you?"

  • Harry's heart raced against his chest and he hoped Louis wouldn't feel it. "I'm okay!" He insisted, nervously looking away. He hated lying to Louis but telling him would make things complicated.

  • Harry crossed his arms. "You can't do anything about it unless you glue my feet to the stage floor!" Realization hit him in about three seconds. "Sorry...I'm still terrified of the concert tonight." He let out a small defeated sigh. He tried to avoid this conversation but he was failing at it.

  • "You'll be fine, Harry," he assured him. Pursing his lips, the boy thought for a moment. "Think of it this way: Most, if not all of the ladies like you, am I right? So if you were to make a mistake, they'd think it would be 'cute,' or 'adorable.' See what I mean?"

  • Harry paused. But what about the non-directioners? "Yeah, I guess you're right." He shrugged, remembering the last time he fell he almost broke his wrist. "But you'll still love me, even if I do something embarrassing...right?" He asked, hoping the answer was yes.

  • Louis grinned and chuckled softly. He kissed Harry's cheek gently, cupping his face in his hands. "I will, and I always will," he whispered, kissing his cheek again.

  • Harry smiled in relief, hugging Louis tightly but not enough to squeeze the breath out of him. "Come on, lets go explore the hotel." He stood up. It was something Harry had always done when he went to a hotel and he sometimes got in trouble for playing around too much.

  • He grinned, then quickly rose to his feet. "Lets go!" he grinned excitedly, grabbing his hand and bringing him out into the hallway. There were a few older guests in the hallway, but no younger fans that freaked out. "It actually seems quite calm," he murmured.
