*WHEN DESCRIBING, LOOK TO MY AVATAR FOR REFERENCE. IT'S HER.
-----
PERSONALTY:
She has a deep voice for a she-cat, and a naturally flat tone that only really shows emotion when she's extremely upset. She was born that way. As an apprentice, it used to embarrass her, until she realized it made other cats instinctually take her seriously, if only because they were put off by her. That's all she cares about; dignity and being responsible.
She has a grand vocabulary. One often will find her either interacting with other cats in short, one line sentences, or whole elaborate lengthy speeches. It depends on what she feels like.
Quite serious and a "spoilsport." Only ever lets up on a particularly good day, or for someone like a naive kit who doesn't know any better. Wants to do all she can to protect her Clanmates, so, don't take her seeming un-fun-ness to heart.
Her doesn't have a wide range of facial expressions. She kind of has the same exact look on her face all the time. This isn't because she's emotionless -- quite the opposite! It's all on the inside. In her eyes. The most expressive part of her is her eyes, and the tiny twitches in her mouth or brows.
--- LIKES:
feeling productive, accomplished, being respected
--- DISLIKES:
being ignored, not taken seriously, looked down on for her flaws instead of being expected to overcome them
--- STRENGTHS:
persuasiveness, determination (single-mindedness), ability to think through every possible option/outcome thoroughly
--- WEAKNESSES:
1. prejudiced (anyone anti-StarClan, anti-Clans in general, or unloyal/non-beneficial to RiverClan don't matter to her),
2. doesn't really understand how to relax (she's naturally tense and rather stiff in posture 97% of the time),
3. can't socialize very well if she doesn't see the purpose (i.e., mindless chitchat about the weather, dramatic gossip, etc...)

HISTORY:
*I don't mention her scar because I haven't plotted that part of her past out with someone yet.
Born to decent, respectable full RiverClan parents, Rosereed is as pure-blooded as a RiverClanner can get. She's proud of this -- the river holds almost as much importance to her as the ancestors themselves. As a kit, she was quiet and didn't do much aside from observing the adults. Her sire-tom called her intuitive, while her dam-queen found it worrisome. How was she going to make friends in the future if she just wasn't willing to learn now? Rosekit was picked on, sometimes, because of her lack of pragmatic skills. Whenever she spoke, her inflections and pronunciation were odd and immediately drew attention she didn't want.
So, she figured out it was best to be alone.
It worked, for awhile. She didn't mind the lack of company. It seemed a nice alternative, with far less hassle, awkwardness and misunderstandings than bothering with other cats never failed to bring her.
Then, suddenly, she was told it was due she became an apprentice. Oh, that. She'd almost forgotton. Was this going to be bad? It didn't occur to her that it was strange for a kit to react to such news with anything but elation.
Luckily, her leader was intelligent. The RiverClan leader saw how introverted Rosekit was, and wisely chose a fitting mentor based upon that. This senior warrior didn't much like socialization, either, but he'd learnt to beat those obstacles, finding close friends who related to him and Clan-wide recognition as a capable warrior. He taught her everything he knew, from efficient battle techniques, to emphasizing with others. He varied from drill sergeant to understanding counselor. Rosepaw decided, very quickly, that she wouldn't ever stop owing him for his dedication to her welfare.
The time came for her warrioress ceremony. It felt like the single, largest goal her entire apprenticehood had been building up to so far -- which, it was, but that didn't lessen the feeling of walking on air.
Now, as a grown she-cat, she is dead-set on serving RiverClan whatever it takes, even if it takes her life. She's something of a brick wall in the face of adversity, and she scares off potential friends with her apparent perpetual frowning face occasionally. Her mentor warned her against that: "Don't go out looking for family. They will come to you, and stay, if they care."

ROSEREED OF RIVERCLAN
she-cat .. warrioress .. unmated .. kitless
A little more than exhausted, Rosereed forces herself to stand. The last thing she will do is allow blood to drip all across the floor, splaying her form this way and that as she was a moment ago, inviting any nosy bystander to fiddle in her business -- friendly or no. There are other cats in far greater need than she. So, swallowing her pain and straightening her posture, she approaches one of said Clanmates."Hello, Blindpast," and, really, that's all she needs to say, because the other she-cat is much worse off than her, and her tone is pointed enough that it's obvious she's not letting Blindpast get away so easily. The medicine cat's presence is required, and Rosereed's not below the prospect of kitsitting a fellow, stubborn warrioress.
**i hope silversun ♥ doesn't mind me using this. D: considering it mentions her character.

COMMENTS:
I plan to play Rosereed 'til her death before I make a new character.
High expectations for myself? Maybe.
But, I want to see if I can do it.
This will only change if she has kits, and I (possibly) take one for myself.
*Rosereed is largely based off of me, and my Asperger's syndrome.
