[justify]☆PERSONALITY☆[/justify]
[justify] Ningyōko's primary mode of living is focused internally, where she deals with things rationally and logically. Her secondary mode is external, where she takes things in primarily via her intuition. Basically, she lives in the world of theoretical possibilities; she sees everything in terms of how it could be improved, or what it could be turned into. Ningyōko lives primarily inside her own mind as well, having the ability to analyze difficult problems, identify patterns, and come up with logical explanations. She seeks clarity in everything, and is, therefore, driven to build knowledge. Considered as an "absent-minded professor", she highly values intelligence and the ability to apply logic to theories to find solutions. Typically she is so strongly driven to turn problems into logical explanations, that she lives much of her life within her own head, and may not place as much importance or value on the external world.
Her natural drive to turn theories into concrete understanding may turn into a feeling of personal responsibility to solve theoretical problems, and help society move toward a higher understanding. Along with that, she values knowledge above all else; her mind is constantly working to generate new theories, or to prove or disprove existing theories. She approaches problems and theories with enthusiasm and skepticism, ignoring existing rules and opinions and defining her own approach to the resolution. Basically, she seeks patterns and logical explanations for anything that interests them; though, she is usually extremely bright, and able to be objectively critical in her analysis. Ningyōko loves new ideas, however, and becomes very excited over abstractions and theories. She loves to discuss these concepts with others; although, she may seem "dreamy" and distant to others, because she spends a lot of time inside her mind musing over theories. But, she hates to work on routine things, she would much prefer to build complex theoretical solutions, and leave the implementation of the system to others.
She, however, is intensely interested in theory, and will put forth tremendous amounts of time and energy into finding a solution to a problem that has piqued her interest; though, she does not like to lead or control people. Ningyōko is very tolerant and flexible in most situations, unless one of her firmly held beliefs has been violated or challenged, in which case she may take a very rigid stance. She is likely to be very shy when it comes to meeting new people, however, but on the other hand, she is very self-confident and gregarious around people she knows well, or when discussing theories which she fully understands. Plus, she has no understanding or value for decisions made on the basis of personal subjectivity or feelings. But, she strives constantly to achieve logical conclusions to problems, and doesn't understand the importance or relevance of applying subjective emotional considerations to decisions. For this reason, Ningyōko is usually not in-tune with how people are feeling, and is not naturally well-equipped to meet the emotional needs of others.
A problem with self-aggrandizement and social rebellion will interfere with her creative potential considering she hates it. Since her "feeling" side is her least developed trait, Ningyōko has difficulty giving the warmth and support that is sometimes necessary in intimate relationships, though she tries her best. She doesn't realize the value of attending to other people's feelings and she may become overly critical and sarcastic with others because of it. If Ningyōko is not able to find a place for herself which supports the use of her strongest abilities, she may become generally negative and cynical. For Ningyōko, it is extremely important that ideas and facts are expressed correctly and succinctly; she is likely to express herself in what she believes to be absolute truths. Sometimes, her well thought-out understanding of an idea is not easily understandable by others, but she is not naturally likely to tailor the truth so as to explain it in an understandable way to others. She may be prone to abandoning a project once she has figured it out, moving on to the next thing, as well.
It's important that Ningyōko place importance on expressing her developed theories in understandable ways, though. In the end, an amazing discovery means nothing if she is the only person who understands it. Ningyōko is usually very independent, unconventional, and original; she is not likely to place much value on traditional goals such as popularity and security. She usually has complex characters, and may tend to be restless and temperamental. And she is strongly ingenious, and has unconventional thought patterns which allows her to analyze ideas in new ways.[/justify]

[justify] Ningyōko is a puppeteer for a hobby, she takes her homemade puppets and does puppet shows with them or marionette shows.[/justify]

[justify]☆ BACKGROUND☆[/justify]

[justify] Not much is known about Ningyōko's history considering she came from the City Without Sound. She was one of the man people there that was bound under their own hidden spell before Natsu had broken it. About a year after the spell had been broken did Ningyōko leave her home town. There she began to travel Fiore more and explore every place she could. That's when she came across Fairy Tail's guild building; knowing she had sureddo mahō, she had asked to join. Upon joining the guild, she had then met Dirk and the few other of her friends. She's been with the guild ever since.[/justify]

[justify] Sureddo mahō [which means "thread magic" in Japanese]. Her strings, that are attached to her fingers and thumbs, can be used as a cutting weapon or a weapon that takes control of the nervous system. When it takes control of the nerves system, the opponent then becomes Ningyōko's "living puppet" in a sense; basically, they obey her very command until the bond, which are the threads, is broken between her and her victim.[/justify]
