Jake groaned, of course the dog would want food. He stopped at the nearest pet store and got a can of food, and opened it for the puppy to eat.

The dog ate it fast then fell asleep.

Jake drove to the hospital and presented it to the girl.

She took the dog and smiled.

Jake smiled. "He was hungry, so I fed him"
