  • Kairi nodded, attempting to copy the move, but her pawsteps were rather heavy, as she wasn't used to walking silently while crouched, and her movements seemed stiff and mechanical. She stopped when she reached Xion's side, sitting up and frowning, knowing that it wasn't good.

    OOC: It's ok ^^

  • Xion purred a little at Kairi's frustration. "That was great for your first try," she praised. "Just think of gliding along the ground. Thinking about being silent will just make you noisy. The black she-cat did the move again.

  • Kairi attempted it again, but it was only slightly better. Her paws thumped on the ground more than they broke twigs. It was probably much easier to teach a kit than an almost full grown cat. "How was that one?" she asked Xion.

  • Xion chuckled softly. "A little bit better," she mewed. "Just keep practicing. No cat can learn a perfect hunting crouch in one day." But, how long am I going to stay with her? she thought. At least until she learns how to hunt.

  • Kairi smiled. "Thanks," she replied gratefully. She tried again, wondering what the black she-cat was going to do next before voicing her thoughts.

  • Xion nodded, and she glanced at the sun. It had sunk almost completely below the horizon. "I think we shouls find some shelter before it gets too dark," she said uncertainly. She didn't know if Kairi wanted Xion to stay with her. Xion herself didn't know why she wanted to say with her. Was it her instincts caring for a cat that couldn't hunt? Maybe I'll find some answers, Xion thought, about my past.

  • "Ok," Kairi replied, glancing around, "Where?" There didn't seem to be many places around that looked sheltared. She cast her eyes over towards Xion. The black cat didn't seemed completely confident with herself, did she? Then turning towards the horizen, she sighed sadly. She had always watched the sunset with Riku and Kairi.

  • Xion glanced around. Kairi had a point. "We could make nests under that small tree over there," she suggested. It's branches looked bent over from the wind and offered some shelter.

  • "Good idea," the red cat replied, flashing a warm smile at Xion. She padded slowly over to the branches, waiting for the black cat to follow her before continuing. "It looks goo denough for the night," Kairi obsereved.

  • Xion followed Kairi over to the small tree, peerig under the branches. She scraped away a few twigs and leaves. "We should collect some moss for nests," she suggested. She started heading back over towards the river: she knew moss grew well near fresh water.

  • "Ok," Kairi agreed, trotting over to the black cats side, watching the water of the river darken as the sun lowered in the sky. She didn't see any moss, but she wasn't exactly sure what to look for.

  • Xion quickly spotted some of the fuzzy green stuff near the edge of the river. It was right under the ledge where she stood, and she had to reach down with her paw to hook it on a claw. She swiftly flicked it back over her head so it landed in the grass nehind her. Picking the moss up in her mouth, she said, "Careful, Kairi, it's pretty slippery. But the moss is right there." She padded back over to the tree to set the bedding down.

  • The red cat nodded and repeated what Xion did, hooking a bunch on her claws. She rolled it up to grab in her jaws and followed Xion to lay it down. "I've never had to make a nest before," Kairi murmered. She had a nest, but it wasn't moss. It was more of feathers and fur and such, or Sora, Riku and her would curl up in the sand at sunset.

  • Kairi looked up at the mysterious black cat. "Mhm," she told her, "Our nests were usually fur and feathers and stuff, or indents in the sand we make." Her life had been simple. She loved life, with her two friends. It was simple and wonderful. If only they hadn't wanted to explore the unknown, they wouldn't of been seperated.

  • "Oh," Xion said simply, rolling up another ball of moss in her jaws. After setting it down, she said, "You...said something about losing your friends. Do you have any idea what happened to them?" She shrank back a tiny bit; she didn't know if the topic was offensive or not.

  • "No, I don't," Kairi informed her, "All I know is that we were seperated in a storm and I woke up on a shore of a river in Riverclan Territory."

OOC: I almost typed 'I waked up' >.<

  • Xion scuffed the ground awkwardly with her paw. "Oh, I'm sorry," she muttered. It didn't seem like much of a consolation, even to her own ears. Suddenly, she got an idea. "What do they look like?" she asked Kairi. "I might've seen them somewhere."

  • "It's ok," Kairi tried to assure the black cat. What do they look like? She douted Xion had seen them before, but told her anyway. "Sora's brown, with sorta spicky and unkept looking fur. He has light blue eyes, too. Riku is silver, with longer fur, and aqua blue eyes." She closed her eyes, remembering the two.

  • Xion closed her blue eyes for a moment. "Sora...Riku..." she opened her eyes sadly. "No, I'm sorry, I haven't met them," she told Kairi. She felt bad about not being very helpful.
