    Niamph prayed to whatever larger power there was in the sky, to put her in Gryffandor; and not Slytherin or... Hufflepuff.

    Cody really hoped not to be put in Ravenclaw, where the weirdos went or Hufflepuff where they're just downright losers. She hoped to be put in Gryffindor or Slytherin. What's so bad about that house anyway? Peter Pettigrew was in Gryffindor, he was a bad guy. Severus Snape turned out to be good, so that's one good person coming out of that house.
