    She nodded her acknowledgement and smiled looking out the window. "I wonder when we'll take off?"

    "Prolly within half an hour," Akane said thoughtfully, scanning the crowd for a slight of her parents. She had no doubt they would appear by the window sooner or later, so she simply had to wait for them. As she did this, there was a slight rustling in the bag that held her snacks, and out popped a fluffy face. It was mostly black with a bit of white, but what caught Akane's attention was what appeared to be a bit of ham sticking out of its little muzzle.

    "Cute!" Sarah remarked, tilting her head at the little creature.

    "Yeah," Akane agreed, picking the small kitten up, "but I think he just ate the ham off of my sandwich." The kitten meowed cutely, acting innocent even though he had been caught red handed. He quickly nuzzled his owner, gaining her forgiveness with ease due to his cuteness. The redhead sighed slight before she put him onto her lap, though he instantly wiggled his way into her jacket. He stuck his head out of the top, resting his head against the young girl's stomach as he fell asleep, purring loudly as he did so.

    "I wish I had something as loving." Sarah sighed, looking at her own pet, a small golden eagle. He was a friend, but he would never do anything as dovey as that. Her brothers had always just rough housed with her and each other, not caring for their own safety.

    Elijah sat at the hufflepuff table petting his small brown owl, he had gotten her when he was seven. He was glad to have her being that all he had as a family was his mom, he didn't know why but all his relatives except for his mom have disappeared without a trace.

    "Oh, hello big twilight!" Sarah smiled at the Great Gray, using the name her parent's owl had been named.

    Alex sat down, playing around with his rigid as hell wand. He was attempting to cast the levitation spell his parents taught him before school.

    "Who?" he asked, as a slim, chestnut haired girl came in. "Zeus!" she half cried, half scolded. "Don't do that!" she was holding a silver tabby with one arm and her gear with the other. "I'm Sylvia." she said to the two girls. "This is Zeus, and this is Tilly." she pointed to the big owl, then the small cat. She plonked herself next to Zeus. "Mind if I sit here?"

    "'Course not," Akane answered smiling as Chu examined the other animals for only a moment before he wiggled out of her jacket. He curiously walked up to Tilly, examining the other cat closely.

    Sarah smiled her approval and said, "Twilight. It was what my parent's owl was called!"

    Sylvia smiled and let Tilly sniff the young tom. She meowed loudly, then returned to Sylvia's lap and curled up. Zeus just watched them, his huge eyes unblinking. "My parents are both non-magic." She explained. "So I don't know much about this world."

    "You'll learn quickly," Akane assured her, smiling happily as Chu climbed back onto her lap. "If you don't, I know a lot so I could help a bit."
