'one who is ready to forgive and forget any first abuse, tolerate it the second time, but never forgive nor tolerate on the third offense'
'fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, eh, we'll see. but fool me thrice? screw you.'
she used to be a pretty little naive, trusting thing. she's still pretty, she's still trusting, but ilunga's far from naive now. the fluffy, long-haired gray tabby she has been screwed over so many times, she can hardly count them. but she can rememer them. oh, can she remember them.
her dark brown eyes hadn't always been so searching. it used to be that she's forgive everyone for everything. but she was misused. mistreated. taken advantage of. and after a while, ilunga couldn't forgive anymore. she does still give the benifit of the doubt: one chance, that's nearly all the get. the second chance wasted? she becomes quite wary. a third chance given, and then used? she's got no place left in her heart for them.

'one who has nothing but bad luck'
'i should warn you, you probably don't want to be near me. bad things happen around me.'
he's young, somewhat small, and plenty scared. his short life --only seven moons as of yesterday-- has been full of misfortune. nearly every cat he's ever been close to has been put through some sort of trouble. he's constantly having to dodge branches and birdsnests that fall from the sky, getting sick from eating bad prey. he's got nothing but bad luck.
shlimaz is mostly black, with a large white patch covering his underbelly, chest, chin, and face. his forehead has a white blaze on it, covering one of his lavender eyes. he has a pink nose and pink paws. the tufts of fur that come out from his ears are white, but a dingy white, unlike the rest of his pelt. on the black part of his fur, there are a few white strands of fur, which stand out against the dark of his pelt.

'a sensation of great spiritual anguish, often without any specific cause; a dull ache of the soul, a longing with nothing to long for, a sick pining, a vague restlessness, mental throes, yearning'
'i wish i didn't feel this way, but i don't know why i do...'
shlimza's only remaining sibling, toska's nearly the opposite of her brother, at least in appearance. mostly creamy ginger, she's got darker russet stripes on her legs and her back. slightly larger than her brother, she's seen as the older sibling, the one who has to be strong. but she's far from strong.
she's depressed, but doesn't know why. of course, it could be because she's lost her parents, her other siblings, just about every relative she's known, but toshka claims that she came to terms with their death a long time ago. she's had no heartache, had no 'significant other.' she just feels...wrong. off. broken. she's waiting for something to happen, but doesn't know what. and yet, she wants it. badly.

'a mother who relentlessly pushes her children toward academic achievement'
'these kits, their not born yet, but they will be great. all my kits will be.'
she's deeply pregnant, though kyoikumama won't let any cat know who the father is. her pelt's of a tabby kind, mostly gray with darker black stripes. but her bulging underbelly is all white, as is her chest. her eyes, both a deep blue-green, are always shifting, searching for any sort of danger that could harm her young.
she seems like the perfect mother. it's all she's ever wanted in life. and yet, were her kits alive, they'd disagree. she's pushy, with very strong opinions that she thinks all other cats must have: if your opinion differs, you are wrong. she really does want the best for her offspring, but she goes about it the wrong way; she does't let them decide anything for themselves, and forces them into whatever she deems best for them.

'a feeling of happiness derived from another's misfortune'
'oh no, i can't believe that happened.'
he and hyggelig, twins, couldn't be more different. their pelts may be the same bright white, but they couldn't act more different at all. schadenfruede is smaller than his brother, by more than a little, more than a lot. the only other visible difference from his brother, hyggelig, is his eyes: a bright green-yellow, always watching others.
he's got a sick heart, this tom. he loves watching other cats, always hoping for some sort of misfortune to befall them. it's probably because of his size: one can become plenty bitter from being the smallest, and yet eldest, brother. but schaden's more than bitter: he's downright wrong. he's got a problem, getting so happy when another cat's hurt. and what's more, he often times sets traps to inflict said hurt onto the others. one thing's for certain: don't get on the wrong side of this cat.

'warm, friendly, cozy; to be experienced to be known'
'i couldn't think of a better way to spend my day.'
just like schadenfruede, hyggelig has a pure white pelt. but this tom is a good bit larger than his brother, a good bit stronger, and a heck of a lot nicer. his eyes are bluer in color, though still with a yellowish tinge to them.
he's the good twin, the one who's nice to nearly everyone. he's friends with practically the whole clan, though he only deems a few lucky cats with the actual title of 'friend.' hygg enjoys sunbathing, chatting, and napping. he's done catnip before, as well as a few other drugs, with his close-knit group, but doesn't let them rule his life.
